Handong quietly closed the front door behind her as she tiptoed inside.

She's trying to be as quiet as she can be with every step she takes and everything she does.

It's nearly two in the morning and you're usually out cold by this hour.

The last thing she wanted to do was wake you up.

She put her keys on the table and then kicked off her shoes before padding across the floor and up the stairs.

She was almost to the bedroom when she heard something coming from the guest room across the hall.

She turned around and saw that the door was closed and the lights were on.

Confused, she made her way to the door and turned the knob. Her eyes went wide when she saw you were inside, laying on the floor as you lifted weights.

She could hear your music coming from your earphones as it blared loudly, keeping you occupied and focused as you continued to push yourself hard.

She stepped closer and saw the beads of sweat rolling down your skin. You were panting, struggling to catch your breath.

She bent down in front of you, reaching for one of your earbuds to pull it out.

You jumped and nearly dropped the weights on your body, but relaxed upon seeing Handong just before they would've slipped from your weak hands.

"You're home?"

"Yeah. You look confused about that. You shouldn't be, y/n. It's almost two am."

"It is?" You asked as you set the weights down and wiped your sweaty forehead.

"Yeah. Why are you still up? Why are you still working out?"

"Just couldn't sleep." You lied.

"Okay. Well, I'm home now. Can we try together?"

"You can go to bed, babe. I'm not tired." You lied once more and this one Handong saw right through.

She shook her head and helped you stand up.

She didn't think much about dropping your hand but when she did, when you were standing on your own two feet, your knees buckled beneath you.

She quickly put her arms around you to keep you standing up.

"Whoa! Are you okay, baby?" She asked worriedly, watching you closely as you groaned about how the room was spinning.

"How long have you been working out for?" She asked as she held you up.

"I don't know." You mumbled.

"You ate, right?"

You shook your head and before Handong could say a word, you passed out in her arms.

She watched as your eyes rolled back and you lost consciousness completely. She gently laid you on your back and shook your shoulder to try to get you to wake up.

"Y/N? Y/N! Wake up!" She repeated worriedly, desperately trying to get you to wake up.

But you didn't and Handong knew you needed help.

Once the ambulance arrived, they took you to the hospital just to be safe.

Handong rode by your side the whole way, her hand staying wrapped in yours every minute you spent in there.

She brushed her thumb along her knuckles, hoping everything would turn out fine.

Thankfully, it did.

It was a little while later when you opened your eyes again. You felt groggy and your body ached. There was an annoying beep coming from nearby and your eyes felt heavy.

But the gasp that fell from Handong's lips, followed by your name, made you open them fully so you could look at her.

"Thank gosh you're okay! You scared me." She said as she brought your hand to her lips, careful not to touch your IV in any way.

"What happened?"

"You passed out. So, you're in the hospital now. They said you haven't eaten and you're also a little dehydrated, as well as exhausted. You need to slow things down a little and take care of yourself."

You knew she was right, so you didn't argue. You just slowly nodded your head.

"Why are you pushing yourself so hard in the first place?"

"I'm just not creeping good about myself these days." You confessed and then heard Handong let out a sad sigh.

"You're beautiful. So beautiful."

You smiled a little as your eyes locked with hers.

"If you have those days, come to me so I can help make you feel better. Please don't do things like this to yourself."

"Okay, I won't. I'm sorry. I love you."

"I love you too." She said and pecked your lips. "Just relax now. Everything is going to be okay. I'm staying home from practice tomorrow so I can take care of you. When we get out of here in a few hours, we'll go home and sleep and cuddle."

"I love that idea." You said, smiling as she kissed your cheek, stroking it as you yawned and closed your eyes.
