chapter eight

I still couldn't even believe about my whole conversation with CT actually happened. I got back to the pool and got into the pool again.

"So, what happened?" She half smiled at me.

"Well, I kind of fell deeper in love with him, and he's really sweet and stuff," and I basically told her the whole story about what happened.

"Ahhh yay! I'm really hoping for the best for you two, I can tell how much you genuinely like him," I smiled.

We talked for a little before we both went back inside. I knew that if I went into elimination and lost, I would have to leave right then and there, so I went ahead and packed my bag just in case.

After I was done, CT was back in the room and in his bed. There was a little room next to him, and when I looked at him, he patted the open space next to him. I went over there and sat there.

It was a little bit awkward at first, but eventually I layed against his chest, and he just put his arm around me. There were so many words that went unsaid between us, but this was almost more comforting than the hugs he gave.

"I really hope that I don't go home, not just for me, but for you too," I looked up and kissed his jawline.

"Yeah, I don't know what I'd do in this house without you," he smiled at me before messing up my hair a little bit.

We kind of just sat there, together hoping that we would have another night together.

Eventually, we were told that it was time to get ready to go for an elimination.

I got my bag ready, and we got ready to get on the bus for the short ride down there. I sat next to CT of course and we didn't talk, like at all. We were both worried, who knew if I was going into elimination, and who knew if I would come back from one.

I had my head leaned on his shoulder, and he had his arm around my lower back. The cameras were all over us of course but we really didn't care.

When we got there, there was a big platform, and a lower part with a big circle in the middle, meaning this challenge was going to be very much a physical one.

I knew the decision was going to be from Jordan and Kayla and I didn't know which way they would vote. We had never talked, but there were a few people who neither of them got along with, at all.

"Alright guys, so since Kayla and Jordan won," TJ started, "They will both pick one girl to go into elimination, now whoever loses, will go home and their partner will be immediately going into the next elimination," I could feel my breathing getting faster from nerves. "Alright so Jordan," he paused, "who will you be voting into elimination.

Jordan sighed, "Well Teej, when I was a rookie," I knew where this was going already, "we had to be voted in so that we could prove ourselves, and I feel like everybody should have to that, that includes my partner as well," he gestured towards Kayla, "So nothing against her, but my pick will be," he paused for dramatic effect, and I was getting tired of people doing that, "Katie."

My shoulders dropped, but I knew that it was probably going to happen. I hugged CT and walked down to the elimination floor.

"Now Katie, how does that make you feel?" TJ aksed.

"Honestly, I do understand why he voted me," I sighed, "So all I can really do is try my best and hope it's better than my opponents best," I smiled at him.

"I really like that Katie," he said, "Now we have to find you an opponent, so Kayla, who is your vote for?"

"Um well, I do believe everyone has to  prove themselves including me, so my vote tonight will be for Morgan," she smiled.

"Alright, Morgan come on down."

Morgan came down and honestly this was probably going to be like fighting myself, we both were about the same height and had a similar build. I had only talked to her once, on the van at the beginning. She was actually really nice.

"Well Morgan, how do you feel about Kayla's decision?"

"I mean, I'm okay with it, I wish that it didn't have to be me, but what are you going to do about that?" she smiled and fake laughed.

"Yeah that is true," TJ said. "Alright so tonight we will be playing one of my all time favorite games, pole wrestle," everyone oooh'd and ahhh'd. I had heard of this, it was a challenge that needed a lot of physical strength. "Basically, you will start with your hands on the pole, and do anything you have to do so that the pole is in your total possession. We will do best out of three, so first to get to two points wins."

Morgan and I had to go and get gloves and all the stuff like that. Then we had to do our pre-interviews.

"So basically just tell us all of the things that are on your mind before starting this elimination challenge," some production assistant asked me.

"Um really all I have to say is that I am really hoping to win because I don't want to leave this early, and I don't really want to leave CT yet," I told them, "but best of the luck to Morgan, and honestly may the best competitor win."
