Dennis.

That one person is on my mind.

How did I come to this?

Talking to Ali about something way more important, yet I'm thinking about someone who my yesterday self would want dead.

Do I love him?

Not exacttttttttttttlllyyy— yes.

Okay? Ali's worried thoughts fill my mind.

I'm fine.

You were—

I KNOW!

Want to talk?

Always. My anger melts.

Dennis and Jessica watch; Dennis looks like he under stands nothing, Jessica looks like she's seeing a juicy piece of gossip and is trying to lap it all up with her wide innocent baby blue eyes.

Last night—

Yes! That was a scientist,—

I thought we were for SURE gonna get caught—

Me too!

Our words over lap each other, and I feel back to normal. Almost.

I had a vision. I think quickly and Ali stops, deadly quiet.

About Dennis.

Show me this vision.

Alright.

I think back to my dream, and I fell this pain, like my head is gonna spilt open.

Running.

Running of fear.

A bullet nearly shots me in the arm.

Scared that I'll be captured, yet I can't go on.

I didn't go silently. I fought.

Yet I surrendered.

Because I saw him.

He is there, behind a tree. A few more steps...

... And I'll see him again.

He disappears, then appears again, this time behind a different tree.

His face, looks shocked and sad.

He says nothing, and neither do I.

We just look each other, until he fades.

Fades away, and becomes nothing.

Then the world fades to black.

Wow. I know about fading, but, but, I can't—

I've seen something like that before. I cut Ali off.

Where? She asks.

I'll show you, but first I've got to talk to Dennis.

...

Oh. My. God.

Really?

I can't sleep.

The excitement of it keeps me awake.

I finally get to talk with him.

Tell him about magic.
