When he was able to fly again, the Illyrian flew off to try and find shelter somewhere leaving me alone with my thoughts, which I was grateful for. I sat on a rock and rested my legs as I tried to concentrate, as the ground began to spin and the cold bit into the last pieces of warmth my coat provided and a pounding headache began to stir up inside me. Just as I felt like I was about to collapse, he came back and landed in front of me.

"I found a hut on that mountain, undisturbed, we can rest there for the night and leave in the morning."

I nodded, wearily and he looked at me, eye brows scrunched together. "You look awful." I smirked at him and said, "why thank you." He watched me closely for a moment before extending his hand out to me. "Let me help you." I would have been shocked or laughed at his sudden change of mood, but I was too worn out to care so I just swatted his hand away as I prepared to stand.

"I'm fine," I insisted as I went to take a step forward and ended up stumbling over my own feet and my knees gave out as I tripped and a pair of strong hands, caught me. Before I could protest he scooped me up in his arms and held me close as we soared through the sky.

When we entered the cabin, he placed me on the bed and I didn't have the energy or the care to say anything. The cabin was made up of sticks and brown sheets that kept out the cold and there was a pot and kindle in the middle of the room, to start a fire. There where seats placed randomly around the room and coats hanging by the walls with draws and cupboards. It was all one room but seemed cosy enough and well cared for despite being abandoned.

As he brang me a blanket to warm myself with I began to undress, pulling off my wet clothes. When he looked over to see what I was doing his eyes widened in horror and he stared daggers at me.

"Put your clothes back on."

I rolled my eyes. "If you want to freeze to death be my guest, but if you want any chance of being warm I suggest, taking off that ridiculous outfit and join me."

He shook his head, annoyed. "It is armour and I think I preferred you when you couldn't talk."

I stuck my tongue out at him and placed my clothes near the fire to dry. As I gathered under the blankets I spared a glace at the brooding Illyrian, and saw him shivering under his one blanket as he tried to warm his scared hands by the fire.

"Look I have more then enough blankets to spare if you just take off those dam clothes then you might be able to get some warmth into that body of yours."

He stared me down and I stared back. Seeing that I was not going to relent he shook his head before standing up to unbuckle his belt. When he noticed me looking he scowled.

"Turn around."

I sighed before turning away as he continued to get undressed.

"Sorry to be the one to tell you but, there's nothing all that unique about Fae men, you don't have anything special, nothing you need to hide, your just a man, like all the others." I turned to look at him, and saw him half undressed, his chest bare as he wrapped the blanket around his torso. I could feel my face flushing red as I turned away again. What was wrong with me? I had seen a man bare-chested before, Zander would walk around our little cottage naked all the time and I had to throw a pillow at him to make him leave. My heart quenched at the thought of my brother and the flushed feeling I felt went away, replaced with anxiety.

I turned around to look at him once again, still bare-chested.

"Here take this and cover the rest of you with it, hopefully it will be able to contain that massive ego of yours that allows you to flaunt every girl your in the presence of."

I throwed one of the blankets at him as he caught it in one hand. "What, do I intimidate you?" I threw back my head and laughed.

"Please, you could be butt naked and dancing on the roof right now, and you still wouldn't be able to make me do so much as swoon."

He looked at me, smirking darkly before saying, "If I wanted to make you swoon, I wouldn't have needed to be naked, I'd need five minutes alone with you in a bedroom."

I tried to hold in my laughter but couldn't help it as I burst into a fit and fell back on the bed. He looked surprised, but a smile began to tug at his lips.

"You could have two hours alone with me and still not be able to make me turn red, you wanna know why? Because we've been alone together for two hours already and you don't exactly see me begging for the taste of you."

His face went red and then he finally broke, his head falling back as he broke into a roar of laughter. I looked at him in awe, smiling, the first genuine smile I had mustered in days.

"Mother of Cauldron, I didn't know you could laugh."

He laughed harder, and I soon joined him, and a moment later we were sitting by the fire, eating fish while insulting each other and laughing about it. I must have fallen asleep at one point because I found my self lying sideways on top of the bed, as my eye's drifted shut, but not before I felt a blanket of warmth drape over me and I looked in time to see him move back to his place by the fire.
