"I think the Gossamer would be prettier with the silver," I said to mom who was holding up the fabric.
"You don't think it would be too much?" My mother asked, examining the materials.
"No, I think it would be perfect for starfall."
We were currently in our house at camp windhaven.
My mother and I had been sewing dresses while the boys trained.
We heard yelling and the door slam shut.
Well, I guess their home.
"I swear I'm going to tear his fucking arm off," I heard someone say and made my way down stairs.
I found them all In the kitchen looking for snacks.
"Who's going to tear who's fucking arm off," I asked sitting on a chair next to Cassian.
"You know ryland?" Cassian said and she nodded.
"Well, apparently he slept with Liza," Cassian finished shoving a cracker into his mouth.
"Your kidding, the Liza Azriel likes?" I asked, shocked.
"Why is everyone getting so worked up over this, I'm the one that liked her. It's fine, I'm over it," Azriel said and I could hear the passive aggressiveness in his tone.
"Az you never tell us who you like, and the one time you do boom she sleeps with the biggest dickhead on the planet," Cassian says and Rhys comes over with a box of crackers.
"Then that's why you want to tear his arm off?" I asked and Cas shook his head.
"He said some things that pissed us off and tried to punch Cas in the face," Rhys said and I snorted.
Who tries to punch Cas in the face?
Actually I take that back. I bet a lot of people want to punch him in the face.
"So, Cas broke his arm," Azriel said glaring at Cassian.
I started laughing.
I think it's funny how people think that girls have more drama than boys.
They have obviously never spent an afternoon with these three.
Cas grinned at me and said, "see, she thinks it's funny."
"Well, Devlon obviously didn't," Azriel said, grabbing the box of crackers from Rhys.
"What are you all yelling about?" I heard my mother say walking into the kitchen.
"Nothing," we all say at the same time.
Cauldron, we need to get better at lying.
She just stared each one of us down.
"I broke someone's arm," Cassian broke first.
I sighed Cassian was too honest for his own good.
"Why did you break someone's arm?" She asked, walking around the kitchen counter and Az and Rhys came to sit by me and Cas on the bar stools.
"He was being rude, he tried to punch me in the face," Cassian said defensively.
"So you broke his arm?" My mother asked, sighing and Cas nodded.
"You're cutting the onion tonight as punishment," she said and Cas frowned at her.
"You are evil," Cas said and Az, Rhys, and me were all trying not to laugh.
"The rest of you," my mom said "cut the rest of the vegetables."

That was a normal day for us, a happy day.
I can say with absolute certainty that most of my days were filled with that.
I am lucky, the short life I did live was wonderful.
Well, for the most part.
