Karl's front apartment door creaks as it swung open, karl tossed his bag asides and jumped on his couch,

"Damn im tired." Karl said as he turns on his TV, he layed down on the couch while eating some snacks as he relaxed himself by being lazy,

As he kicked his leg up and relax he starts to wonder to himself,

"Am i just lucky or what..?"

He shooked off the thought and decided to think about the match with saunders, he smiles to himself as he filled himself up with hype and excitement,

"Can't believe I'll be playing against the saunders for my first match.."

As the time pases, droplets of water hits Karl's apartment window as it flows down, it became cloudy and eventually it rains.

"Lucky me, i got home fast.." he muttered to himself,

"Anyways, i wonder if it still..."

"Fits..?" He said as he pulled out a kuromarine tanker uniform from his closet, he Looked at himself in the mirror with amazement as the uniform still fits him well, "looks good~" he jokingly said to himself

From curiousity and boredom, he looked Outside the window, something caught his eyes as he immediately gasp.

"Koume?! S-she's just standing there in the rain!" He said to himself as he hastly exited his apartment..

Koume's POV

"(Im lost... Where am i? It started raining.. this is bad..)" She thinked to herself, as koume looked around. suddenly, she saw a figure coming at her, it was hard to see because of the rain,

"Hey," a shocked expression filled koume's face as she looked up to see a familiar, friendly face.

"Karl..?"

"Yup, its me. Cmon lets get inside, you're soaked." Karl, holding an umbrella said as he held koume's hand and leads her to his apartment

Timeskip

"Sorry koume, I dont have any more spare clothes." He said as he gave koume one of his shirts,

"I-it's alright.. thank you~" koume said with a warm smile

"(that's Adorable..)" karl thought to himself as he hangs koume's clothes, leaving it to dry. Koume sat on his couch as she observes karl taking care of her, karl went to his room and grabbed a blanket and gave it to her,

"Here, Dont catch a cold."

He sat on the couch with her as koume snuggled up in the blanket, karl sighs to himself as he took a sip of his hot beverage, he took a couple of look at koume as she watches the movie that he was playing and quickly turned away once koume looked at him back,

"(Im so flustered holy crap..)"

Karl decided to inch closer and closer to koume and his face slowly turns red and then, finally He bumped into koume.

"a-ah.." they both looked at eachother,

"What is it karl..?" Koume said as she gets closer to him

"Nothing.. n-nope. Totally nothing.." karl muttered as looked away from her, koume looks on in confusion

"Is something wrong? Are you cold..?"

"Im good but.. yeah, im kinda feeling a little cold.. better than winter though"
He said as he puts himself under the blanket, joining koume..

"You know, you kind of remind me of my mother... sorry if that's weird to ask or something." Karl said to her,

"Why's that..?"

"You're kind and soft spoken, just like my mom. Heh.."

"Well then~" koume leaned towards Karl's shoulder, which flustered him

"W-what are you doing..?" Karl jerked up in suprised as koume leans in

"You must've been lonely..."

"Well i have kurt but- eh?" As he was talking, koume fell alseep in his arms, he was suprised for a moment then a wide smile fills his face

"Guess I'll just stay here... For the rest of the night.." he chuckled to himself

KARL! a disembodied voice shouted his name, karl opened his eyes and he is seemingly under water, he couldn't feel anything and his vision is slowly, slowly getting blurrier and is fading away,

He tried to swim to the surface but it felt like something was puling him down, he closes his eyes and...

"(WHAT THE HELL)" he thought to himself as he heavily breathes, he was sweating and he looked around his room and calms himself down,

"Just a stupid dream." He said as he rests on the couch once again, he bumped into something and realized that koume was besides him.

"Still asleep," he muttered to himself, koume was sound asleep with an innocent look, karl moved some of her hair that was on her face, "cute.." he said to himself before falling asleep again,

"What does it mean..?"
