Chapter 19

The van pulls into the lot and out comes Jax. Tig runs to the back of the van to open it up. Happy goes straight to Blair and he wraps her in his arms. Blair smiles at his familiar scent. The prospects build a playhouse for the club children, spent all night on it.

"Church!" Clay announces.

Happy kisses Blair open mouthed and they head inside the clubhouse house together, and they go to the chapel. Phones are checked for bugs and left outside as the club heads inside and sits around the table.

"ATF and Charming PD are digging into Salazar," Tig says. "They talked to that aunt who owned that house and they're rattling a few of the Calaveras. So dark they got nothing."

"All right. I'll check in with Unser," Clay says. "You see where Stahl is."

"We got a complication," Kozik says.

"Yeah," Tig says after a moment. "Alvarez found out that the cops are all over Salazar. Now, if Hector gets picked it, he could seriously blow a whistle on this heroin operation."

"If the Mayans are looking for Salazar, they're not gonna give a shit about protecting Tara," Jax says.

Clay nods and he looks at Tig. "Call Alvarez and set up a meeting. And, uh, let's find this aunt who owns the house. Maybe we can convince her to share info on Little Hector."

Tig and Kozik are talking as they head out of the church. Blair goes straight to Abel and apologizes to Gemma. Gem understands, knowing that B has missed the baby. She coos over him. She knows she had club shit but she wanted to see her godbaby first. She passes Abel to Lyla before she goes to reunite with and kiss on Happy.

The club hears harleys and they head outside and find Mayans on their lot. Alvarez and a couple more.

"Marcus," Clay says in greeting as they get closer.

"Hey," Alvarez greets. "You find your boy?"

"Yeah, thanks," Jax replies.

"That's good," Alvarez replies. "I know why you want to talk."

"Salazar has my old lady," Jax informs the Mayan president.

"And I'm sorry about that," Alvarez says truthfully, "but I got to look out for my family, too. Salazar's a threat to me and my club. He's got to die."

"Salazar's got a much bigger card to play than you," Clay says. "He's running dirty errands for Jacob Hale. We bring him in alive, yeah, it keeps Tara safe, but it also protects the heroin trade."

"What are you talking about?" Alvarez asks.

"Jacob Hale becomes mayor, Charming turns into suburban Disneyland," Clay replies. "All protected by corporate-fortified county sheriff's department."

Alvarez's jaw clenches a few times at this.  "Salazar wants me dead. He'll give me and the heroin up just to watch us burn. Look," he glances at Jax, "I don't want to see the doctor get hurt, but her safety - it ain't my priority."

Blair watches as a woman starts speaking in Spanish. Marcus and Blair start talking to her, both knowing Spanish, until Marcus puts a gun at her head. Blair says nothing as she looks at the Mayan with a raised eyebrow. Ramona is begging. The Mayans are gone, and the Sons quickly Mount their Harleys to follow them, Blair included. She's glad she's not too far along to not ride anymore.

Blair goes with Juice and Happy to help the Sons check the house while the Mayans checks the house. Until Marcus yells for them. They run around to see what they've found. Two dead women with bashed in faces. Neither one of them being Tara.

The clubs all stand back while the police and ME's take the bodies and look at the scene. Wayne starts talking to Jax, Bobby, and Clay. Blair stays with the others and the Mayans that are still around. She and Marcus are talking and he's asking her how she knows Spanish. Annalise's father was part Mexican and was the one who caused her to lose her baby girl.

There's a hostage situation at city hall with Salazar and Tara. Stahl is there,

"Hey, agent bitch!" Blair greets chirping.

"Hey, Blair," Stahl greets with an unamused smile.

The Mayans show up on their bikes and they know it's going to be a long day. Salazar has taken Jacob Hale and Tara Knowells hostage inside city hall because he's butt hurt about losing his prez patch.

Salazar wants a ride to cartel country. He said he'd trade Tara for Jax. Clay and Chibs try to talk him out of it. Jax makes a point. Salazar isn't going to give them time to plan because he's desperate. Stahl smiles tightly at Blair as she and the cops go around to the back of the building. Jax is fixing to head inside.

"This is a bad idea," Blair says to her man.

"Yeah," Happy rasps in agreement. "A very bad idea."

Blair goes to tell Marcus that Salazar is dead in Spanish, impressing him and his guys. She likes keeping the peace, no matter how badass she looks with her tattoos and kutte as a woman.

"Gracies, Ziggy," Marcus says. "You take care of yourself."

"Thank you, Alvarez."

"Clay!" He calls and Clay turns to the Mayan prez. "Have this one call the meeting next time. In Spanish."

Blair rolls her eyes but she smiles. She and Marcus shake hands before she goes to mount her harley.

"Good choice in first female in the club, Clay," Marcus says. "She's a real one."

"Whatever happens with these charges, we're looking at time," Clay says at church to the ones that are going in at their bail hearing. "Now we've got a game changer with this new Irish opportunity. I'm not going to let that slip through my finger even if I've got to run it out of Stockton yard. Which means SAMCRO is gonna need some bodies to make this happen. We've got six guys willing to make the transfer."

"Voting them in is going to have to take place after we're on the inside," Bobby says.

"Which means we got to vote in a new member before we go away," Clay says. "We need Kozik to stay whole. Jax's proxy, yea."

"My dad's proxie is yea," Blair speaks up.

"Me, yea," Clay says.

Everyone looks at Tig and he says no, again. Blair looks at Tig with wide eyes and she looks at Kozik. She lets out a sigh and Clay hits the gravel against the table. Blair and Happy go out and they head home where Boxer barks and licks Hap. Happy chuckles before he keeps to pet him.
