chapter seventeen: house hunting

𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀 + 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗼𝗹𝗱
"Good morning Lila!" Sydney cooed as she reached over the crib, lifting the two month old out "Did you sleep well baby"
Sydney held Lila in the air as she peppered the baby's face with kisses making her laugh "Are you happy today"
A lot has changed since the date with Vinnie and Sydney so let's catch up with them.
They've become extremely closer since their date in Seattle and have even been on a few more dates and as of right now they're the happiest they've been in a long time
Lila is the most happiest baby ever, she smiles all the time especially when she sees Vinnie who likes to claim he's her favourite parent. She's two months old now and can move her arms and legs around a lot so it's become hard when changing her
Sydney picked up Lila's teddy Daisy, which was a little blanket with a bunny on top, and took her over to her changing table laying her down
She grabbed a clean diaper and the wipes from the little draws she had organised next to the changing table
"Hey little miss wriggler, keep still for mama!" Sydney groaned jokingly as she undressed Lila
"Hi Ly" Vinnie cooed as Sydney carried her into the kitchen "Did you sleep good, you slept in late huh"
Sydney was holding Lila at the front so she could see everything around her, which was something she loved.
"It doesn't bother me" Sydney giggled as Vinnie kissed Lila's nose making her sleepily smile
"Stop getting so big please" Vinnie pouted taking Lila "You need to stay little okay? because your getting to big"
Sydney shook her head as she started to make Lila's bottle "Your over dramatic, she's two months Vin"
"Wasn't you the one crying the other day that she was getting so big?"
"Okay yeah maybe i was BUT she is" Sydney said, taking a sip from her water "Anyways what's from breakfast?"
"Wanna get Ihop or McDonalds?" Vinnie suggested bouncing Lila slightly "Maybe McDonalds because your weird and don't like Ihop, it's the fucking best"
"Can we get McDonalds? We have to be at the first house viewing at ten thirty" Sydney sighed "I have so much to do before then as well"
"Sydney" Vinnie softly said "Can you calm down? I'll get Lila dressed i'll look after her this morning while you get dressed and shower and do whatever you need to do okay? Me and Ly will be fine this morning i can keep her occupied"
"Well she doesn't need occupying, she's just sits there" Vinnie added on, laughing at himself
"Vinnie!" Sydney said, lightly hitting him on the arm while trying to contain her laughter "She doesn't just sit there, she smiles and moves her legs and arms now"
"Yea she's gonna be a little fighter, aren't you Ly" He cooed, squishing her face making her laugh "You've got your Mama's smile"
