chapter twenty six: three months later
𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭 - 𝟱:𝟯𝟬𝗽𝗺
𝟳 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗼𝗹𝗱
- 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐇𝐒 𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐑 -
The last three months for Sydney and Vinnie have definitely been very hectic for them.
Vinnie won his fight in July and after that he's been more relaxed. He's had more time to spend with Sydney and Lila plus work on his cars and hang out with all his friends
The couple have been back together for four months now and they're both very much happy but are definitely finding it hard to keep a secret from social media
Lila is now seven months and definitely looks more like Vinnie everyday. She sleeps through the night almost every night and eats solid foods now. She's also very smiley, the couple have also started showing her more on social media but are still cautious
"Sydney?" Vinnie called through Sydney's house as he closed the front door behind him
"I'm in the kitchen with Lila!" Sydney called back as she made Lila some food
"Hi Ly" Vinnie cooed as he walked into the kitchen, seeing his baby girl sitting in her high chair
Lila smiled and made baby noises as Vinnie lifted her out of her high chair, peppering kisses over her face and making her laugh
"Did you miss me?" Vinnie laughed as Lila laughed her tiny head off "What's Mama cooking" Vinnie cooed, turning to Sydney
"I'm making some lamb, peas and potatoes but mashed potatoes for Lila" Sydney said as she dished up the mashed potatoes on Lila's little plate
"Yeah i'll have some lamb and potatoes, no peas though" Vinnie nodded, taking a piece of cut up lamb
"Hey!" Sydney said, lightly hitting his hand "That's for Ly"
"Sorry but i'm starving" Vinnie shrugged, laughing at Sydney's reaction
The two sat down and the table and placed Lila in her high chair beside them. They talked about their days briefly but they were mainly focused on Lila and making sure she was fed before them eating themselves.
"Have you ever thought about telling social media that we're dating?" Vinnie brought up randomly as Sydney was bathing Lila
"I've thought about it" Sydney shrugged, pulling Lila out of the water and wrapping her in a towel
"Why don't we tell them we're dating" Vinnie said, following Sydney into her bedroom
"Vin i love you but can't we talk about this when it's just us two?" Sydney asked "I just wanna get Lila down to sleep and cuddle with you"
"Let me change Ly" Vinnie offered, seeing Sydney was stressed "I'll get Lila ready for bed and i'll bring her downstairs when she's ready and i'll give her her bottle, go relax"
"Really?" Sydney sighed, getting a nod from Vinnie who was now holding Lila "I love you so much, i don't deserve you"
"Yes you do" Vinnie said, placing a kiss on Sydney's forehead "Now go and relax"
