Chapter 13: Evil step sister!

Back at home , we find Anthony and Hazel playing Twister while Charlie lays on the couch in the living room watching soccer.

"Charlie!" I scream , running to him at a high speed. He sits up and I crash onto him hugging him tightly with my arms around his neck.

Upon seeing this sight , Anthony stands up from his position on his game and rushes over to us. He releases my hands from the hug and pulls me aside.

"Crystal listen , you shouldn't hug guys like this , do you hear me?" He says with his pointing finger.

"But I always hug you like this."

"I'm your brother , I Changed your diaper and fed you as a baby. The only other person you should do this to is your boyfriend." He lectures adding in a pinch of exaggeration.

I roll my eyes at him with my arms crossed over my chest , "yes Dad!" I say sarcastically.

Charlie witnessing this crazy madness bursts into laughter. Anthony gives him a death glare that turns his laughter into him choking.

"Long time no see Rausky , is this what you call China these days?" Ant says making Robert gulp and bite his lips once again.

"You know I hate lies right?"

"Ugh , I'm sorry Ant , it's a long story." He says and signals with his head that they should go talk in private down the hallway.

Anthony gets the signal and leads the way , leaving Charlie
and I wondering what's happening.

We make eye contact for a second before I start hitting him , shouting at him for leaving me like that.

"Crystal wait , I can explain!" He cries out.

"That you hit a girl and made her lose her speech?" I ask.

"He told you?"

"Whatever!" I roll my eyes and sit down next to him. "I have a big heart so I will allow you to be my friend." I smirk and he grins.

"Thank you oh wise one." He bows to me which makes me laugh.

"What do friends do though? It's been long since I had one."

He rubs his beardless chin and says , "you wanna have a tour around Seoul?" He asks daringly.

"You don't even know the place well." I point out.

"But I know a guy , more like a girl."

A huge smile appears once I hear the word , "girl". Looks like someone is already improving with their socialization skills.

"Ouuu someone has a girlfriend." I tease making his cheeks turn red.

"She's not , she's just a girl I met this afternoon." He explains. I don't buy it but I nod.

"By the way , where have you been staying?"

"No where really , I've just been moving around thinking of how I'm going to apologize to you." He looks at me for a few seconds then takes in a deep breath. "Crystal , I'm really sorry , I know it took you a lot of effort to trust me and I disappointed you. From now own I'll be the best friend you have ever had and will ever have."

Is he saying what I think he's saying? An official best friend? I don't know why but this excites me and I feel like bursting out in excitement.

He tells me about what happened to him and how he met the korean girl. It sounds like a typical korean drama story.

A phone vibrates from the table."is that your phone?" I ask him and he shakes his head.

"Hazel, who's phone is that for?" I ask the kid , sitting on the twister board waiting patiently for Anthony to get back.
