Chapter 14: Do you have a girlfriend?

Robert's P.O.V

   I'm bummed out , mum and dad found out I ran away with Hazel and now they've blocked my credit cards. They said they'll tell Edward to buy us tickets and food but that's it , I'm not getting any money , thanks to Crystal.

  Once my English class is over I walk out of class. I wonder if Crystal is upset because I just walked out on her yesterday. Maybe I should call her to see if she would want to have lunch together.

  I take out my phone from my pants. There's a notification that pops up at the top on my screen.

Breaking news : Asher is Racist! He pushes an American high school girl mercilessly to the ground and consoles the korean one instead. Evidence shows there's no relation between the two.

"American girl? Oh no! Please don't be Crystal!" I plead with my eyes closed as I click the post ,I open one eye slowly. Yep it's Crystal.

  Now that I think about it she did the world a favor by spending most of her life indoors otherwise America would have this breaking news almost every day. America was spared and korea suffers.

Under the post is a video of Crystal slapping some korean girl. She's definitely lost it completely. I say face palming.

  You're welcome from moana starts playing ,letting me know that I'm receiving a call.

  "Yes Edward , I've seen the news." I groan .

  "Take care of her , Asher isn't who she thinks he is. She won't understand if you tell her that but just do your best to protect her okay?" He says and I humm in agreement then cut the line.

  Edward told me some time back that Asher's songs have been getting less views and he has more haters than ever before. He's looking for something to boost his career , I hope he doesn't try to use Crystal to his advantage , she's way too naive to see through him.

  "Hey Robert , you want to hang out with us after school?" Two girls from my Math class come up to me and ask , one playing with the ends of her red hair while the other swinging herself left and right allowing her thick long hair to swing a little as she blushes and looks as red as a tomato.

  They're the prettiest in our computer science department or so I've heard. The guys glare at me as the girls try to flirt but I have no interest in them , love isn't meant for me.

  "I actually have plans , maybe next time." I turn them down politely.

  "Why? Do you already have a girlfriend?" The one with long , thick hair asks.

  The first person that comes to mind when I hear that question is Crystal ,  I don't even know what relationship we have now that I think about it. We aren't friends , we aren't just strangers but we do share some sort of bond. Oh well who cares.

"Well do you?" They ask once again and I snap out of my thoughts.

  "No I don't but I'm not interested in such things." I say and speaking of Crystal she calls right on cue. I smile and answer the call. "Excuse me." I say and move away leaving them cursing at me.

  "Annyeong (hello) Crystal , chughaye  (congratulations) I heard you're famous now and those slaps were mad tough, I'm sure you left the girl trembling in fear." I blabber but I hear nothing from her end. Did I hype her too much , me and my big mouth.
