In the police station, sheriff Nick Goode was questioning matin, a janitor that was at the mall during the massacre.
"You still have access to the mall. You are still employed there, correct?" He asks.
The man behind bars replied, "I'ma tell you again. Somebody planted that. Those ain't my cans." Martin says referring to the red spray cans on the floor.
"You're right, Martin. These... are actually my cans." Nick says, holding up a sloppy, red sprayed, sad face on a piece of cardboard in front of him.
"Why would I tag my own place of work? Come on man!" Matin says just wanting to go home, then rather be in a cell for something he didn't do.
"Martin, around here, people show a little respect. They call me sheriff Goode." Nick finalized walking out of the room.
"Sheriff Goode? More like Sheriff motherfucking Evil!" He dreams out to him through a closed door.
"I'm telling you, it was him!" Deena says to a cop. She, Sam, and Gina just finished explaining what happened at the hospital.
"The psycho killer my colleague shot dead, huh?" The cop says not believing the group.
"Yes! That's what we keep saying!" The blonde girl says. "What the hell is wrong with you?"
Just then, Sheriff Goode walked through the door. "Officer Kapinski." He says looking at the three.
Deena turns around to look at the sheriff. "You told me to come to you.
Back in the ambulance, Josh, Simon, and kate were talking. "We should not be this close to the police station in a stolen ambulance." Simon says, worriedly.
"We're hiding in plain sight." Kate says, annoyed with Simon, once again.
"Yeah like Bunty." Josh says quickly after the girl before him. The two just look at the younger boy like he's crazy. "Ted Bunty, when he was stalking his victims, I mean."
"Ok, didn't he get caught though?" The girl asks confused. With that the boy replied with, "Well, no. Well, yeah, but—" He stumbles before being cut off by Simon. "Figure this part out. I'm gonna take a leak."
The blonde haired boy then walks away leaving the other two in a awkward conversation. "Why do you know so much about killers?" Kate asks.
"Know the enemy, right?" He shrugged. Kate nods, then asking, "You hang onto any of that candy."
"Yeah." He reaches into his pocket pulling out a bar of chocolate.
In the police station, the three girls were trying to get Goode to believe them. "Then his mask came off." Gina finished the story of what happened.
"And you saw him?" Nick says pointing to a picture of Ryan. "Yeah. Yeah, the mall killer, Ryan Torres." Gina says exhausted.
"That's Ryan Torres." Goode take out out another picture and points at him, with a bullet to write in his head, clearly dead, and him clearly not believing them.
"Yes." Deena starts. "Yes that's him. I know, but you guys must have made a mistake or something. Look... I know what I saw."
"Ok." Nick says slowly. "Let me get the right paper work." He begins to write. "Dead killerchasing... would you say he was more, uh, 'Dawn of the Dead' or 'Night of the Living Dead?" He asks, making fun of them.
"Wait!" Sam cuts in. "You don't believe us?" She says aggravated. "This was a waste of time." Gina says.
"We've had prank calls, we've had reports of skeleton mask copycats all weekend." Nick Goode says looking at Gina as if he was mocking her?
