Realization

Shuichi s POV

I walk around the campus just to blow off some steam. Kaito was being difficult, that's the thing about kaito he always assumes things and even when he is directly told that it's not what he's assuming he ignores it. He is the reason I'm going to blow a fuse, why can't he just listen for on- my thoughts we're cut off me bumping into someone. It was tenko.

"H-hi tenko sorry for bumping into you-" I stuttered

She didn't waste a second to yell at me

"YOU DEGENERATE MALE I HEARD WHAT YOU DID TO KOKICHI HOW DARE YOU MAKE HIM CRY!"

I flinched at the sudden yelling, it didn't bring up good memories.

"S-sorry I didn't m-mean-"

Suddenly there was a shout in the distance

"tenko!!"

It was himiko, she ran over to us

"Hi himiko!!!"

"What are you doing yelling at shuichi! He didn't do anything!"

"What do you mean?! He made kokichi cry!!"

"Ugh....that was kaito no shuichi!"

"K-kokichi cried..?"

Himiko nodded

"I-I'm sorry.."

"It's not your fault it's kaitos, now tenko. I believe you owe someone an apology"

Tenko hesitated

"Sorry I guess....but that doesn't mean I like you, you degenerate male!!"

Himiko looked satisfied with tenkos apology

"I-it's alright.."

"Alright! Now we have to go meet up with puma and angie in the game room!" Tenko said excitedly

"Alright we're gonna go now, bye shuichi"

I waved them goodbye as I walked off, well that was an interaction

I went back to my dorm with nothing left to do. I decided to pull out my sketch book and draw a bit. I hadn't planned on drawing anything in particular but somehow, without paying attention I drew kokichi. I blushed as I realized what I had just drawn. I closed my sketchbook and placed it on my bedside table.

"Why do I think about him so much! God why am I like this! Why did I call him cute-!" Shuichi paused for a second "d-do I like him?-" his face heated up.. "no I couldn't possibly!...right?" My parents had always said that  only boys and girls are supposed to be together and that being gay was bad but is it really bad? Am I bad? As the they wrong? Ugh! I need someone to talk to about this.

And so I headed up to the only person I knew I could talk to without being heavily judged...(miu..NAH I'm joking)

I knocked on her dorms door

Kaedes POV

I opened my door to find shuichi at my door, without his hat. I could see his face, he was blushing a little. I wonder why he came here? Hopefully not to confess his love! He knows I'm a lesbian and that I have a crush on miu.

"C-can I come in"

That's how I know this is at least somewhat serious. Shuichi only stutters when he's scared or nervous

"Of course!" I say giving a warm smile

We go into my door and I sit on my bed and then tap right next to me signaling for him to sit down

"So! Why are you here? Is there something you need to talk about"

He reaches for his hat only to realize it's not there, he panics a little and then just sighs and nods

"What is it?"

"Ithinkireallylikekokichibutmyparentstildmebeinggaywasbadbutnowithinkimgaydoesthatmeanimabadpersonandifimgaywilleveryonehateme?willkokichihatemewillibeadisgracetoallhumankind!"

He sputtered out really really fast his face growing redder than before

"Woah! Woah slow down! Can you say that slower and maybe simplify it it's really wordy"

He takes a deep breath and then says

"I think I'm gay for kokichi but my parents always said that being gay is bad so does that mean I'm bad and will kokichi hate me because I'm bad!"

I sigh and say

"Hey being gay is normal and not bad. I'm gay dies that make me a bad person? No it doesn't. Plus I doubt kokichi would hate you he's a raging homosexual!"

Shuichi looks up at me "r-really?"

I nod "really"

He gives me a tight hug "thank you!"

I chuckle "your welcome"

He wipes his tears, which I didn't even know he was crying until right now, and leaves out the door a bright smile plastered on his face.
