I drag myself inside my house feeling so defeated. I literally feel like I'm carrying a heavy load on my shoulders.

My lips and my throat feel so dry. My muscles are weakened with every step. My eyes sting from holding back tears.

"LEEYA!" walking upstairs to my room, I did not even notice I missed a step.

My brother caught me just in time. "What are you doing?! Are you trying to die?!"

I can't even let a single word out of my mouth, tears just stream down my face and before I know it.

I've fallen to the stairs, crying my eyes out.
"Shhh, it's okay love." He holds me tight in his arms and brushes my hair. "Who did this to you princess?"

Still, I can't say anything. I just want to cry, I'm not even sure why I'm crying so much.
"Please don't cry so much sis, you know I hate it. Just tell me what happened, tell me who did this to you."

I lift my head up looking at him, he looks really sad upon seeing me like this.

How do I explain my situation? How do I tell him, the man I thought I liked is getting married, and I'm planning his wedding.

I can take care of myself but Vin has always protected me and dealt with anyone who hurt me.

What if I tell him and he goes out hurting Ash? I don't want him to hurt Ash.

"Who did this to you sis?" He asks once again with his hands on my cheeks and his angry eyes locked on mine.

I gulp down a mouthful of saliva and stutter...
"He... Ash... I..."
"Was it Zodiac Ash?" He asks with so much anger in his voice. I don't want to get Ash in trouble, what do I do.
"Um... I..."

"Aleeya?" That's my mom, thankfully she comes right on time. "What's wrong baby? Are you crying?" She limps over to me balancing on one of her crutches, she has not fully recovered.

"Oh mom..." I run up her and hug her tightly.
"Baby what's wrong?"
"That's what I was trying to find out before you interrupted mom."
"I'll talk to her Vin, go ask your grandma to make her some chamomile tea."
"Wouldn't she prefer coffee?"
"Go Vin." My brother sighs then walks to the kitchen. "Come on my love, let's go to your room." I nod then both my mom and I walk slowly to my room.

I help her sit on my bed, I take off my shoes then cross my legs sitting in front of her.
"Now will you tell mommy what's wrong?" She smiles, holding my hand. "Before you say anything. Remember that I'm your mother, and you can never lie to me. Now tell me everything, from the beginning."

I take a deep breath thinking about Ash. It's true, I can never lie to my mom. However, how do I explain this.

"Mom I..." Barely two words spoken I start crying once again.
"Hush now, talk to me."

"Mom it's that stupid guy, he fooled me. He made me think he likes me and I did, I won't lie to you, I did like him. I liked him a lot mom. I know it's stupid 'cause it's been only been a few weeks. I thought he felt the same way about me. He told me he liked me and wanted to go away with me. He kissed me mommy, it was so beautiful. How could I have been so blinded that I couldn't see him for what he is. Can you believe it mom? He doesn't like me, he doesn't want to be with me. He just wanted to use me. He's engaged mom, he's getting married and I only found out today. How could I be so stupid?!"
