The best summer (where it all begun)

Chapter: 3

Josie POV

Today finch left and I now have nothing to do. So I tried calling Lizzie but she didn't answer so I decided why not watch a Netflix show or something.

Knock knock

"Who is it?" I yelled
"Hope" she said

I got up and opened the door

"Hey hope, what are you doing here?" I asked

"Well I was bored and your the only other one here so I was thinking maybe we can hang out?" She asked

"Yeah of course" I say

"By the way your dad stepped out for a moment I think he went into town" she says

"Oh ok, umm do you want to watch a show with me?" I asked

"Yeah sure, what do you want to watch?" She asked me

"How about outer banks , I've never seen that before" I say

"I haven't either, let's watch it" she says

We are about a couple episodes in

"Ok before we continue who's your favorite character?" I asked

"Umm hard to choose how about you?" She asked

"I think I may like kiara and Pope" I say
"Hmm very interesting" she said

"Ok back to the show" I said

It was about 2 in the morning at this point and I heard light snores.

I looked over to see hope was sleep. I didn't want to wake her, she looked so cute as she slept- I mean she looked peaceful.

I put my covers over her and went to lay over on Lizzies bed.

"Jo" she called out
"Yes?" I say
"Can you sleep with me?" She asked I couldn't tell if she was half asleep
"I don't know about this" I say
"Please?" She says
"Ok fine" I say

I got in the bed next to hope, in a few minutes later I felt her hand wrap around me. I didn't move it felt relaxing for some reason.

The next morning

Hope POV

I woke up in a familiar room, soon after looking around I noticed someone on me. Josie. She had one leg wrapped around me and her arms gripping my waist.

She begin to wake up and realized the position we were in.

"Oh I'm so sorry" she said as she jumped up

"It's ok really it wasn't a problem" I said with a smile

"I'm going to get dressed maybe go somewhere after wanna come?" I asked

"Yeah sure just let me get dressed and check on my dad" she said

"Ok sure" and with that I headed to my room

I was getting ready to go with Josie. I couldn't help but think about the incident this morning. I didn't mind Josie wrapping her arms and legs around me. But why? I couldn't put a finger on it but what I do know is so far the summer is going well.

Knock knock

"Hey Josie already?" I say
"Yeah" she says
"Ok let's go" I said
"Where is it that we are going?" She asked
"Well we have to get something to eat first of course"
