Chapter One: I Didn't Plan To Get Thrown Off A Building

Y/N's POV

Let's get something clear. I hate training.

"Come on y/b," my friend and fellow teammate, Alexandra A.K.A Wonder Girl said dragging me by my arm to the Titans Tower training room.

"But we're training with Damian and BB," I whined as we reached the training door.

"So?" Alexandra shrugged, typing in the passcode.

"I don't think you heard me," I scoffed. "Damian. My tiny assassin brother."

"Adopted," Damian said as the doors opened. He stood next to Beast Boy, wearing his Robin outfit. They stood on the sparring mat.

"You know you don't have to wear your suit for training," Alexandra said, walking into the large room.

"Especially when you called the training," I grumbled, following my friend.

"You should always be prepared," Damian stated. You noticed Beast Boy rolled his eyes.

"You sound like Batman," I said, standing across from him. "Always be prepared. You never know when someone will attack the secure highly weaponized Batcave," I mocked in a gruff voice. Damian narrowed his eyes at me.

"Can we just spar and be done here?" Beast Boy asked. "I have some video games to play."

"No powers," Damian said. "Who do you want to spar?"

"Ladies first," Beast Boy said.

"BB," Alexandra said, shooting me an apologetic look.

"Great," I muttered sarcastically. I took off my zip-up hoodie mournfully.

"I'll go easy on you," Damian smirked, getting into position.

"Don't skewer me," I said, eyeing his katana.

Damian didn't answer. We stood silently, each waiting for the other to take the first move.

Then I rushed forward, throwing a punch. Damian easily dodged it, grabbing my wrist and twisting it, pinning it to my back. I winced in pain before swinging at him with my other arm. He released his hold, catching my fist with his hand.

"Really?" he asked, a smug smile on his face. I smirked before dropping and sweeping his legs. He fell to his back with a grunt.

"Really," I smirked, jumping up. Damian growled, flipping himself up. He ran toward me with a yell. I waited until he was close enough before flipping over him, grabbing his hood in the process. As I landed, I pulled the hood, hard, bringing him crashing to the ground. "Those capes man," I said, standing over my little brother. Damian let out another yell before pulling out his katana. He jumped up before slashing at me. I yelped before teleporting away. "Damian!"

"You used your powers!" Damian exclaimed, sheathing his weapon.

"You used a katana!" I shot back.

"Still not a power," he defended.

"Oh so terrifying pointy-"

Suddenly, the tower's alarms went off, cutting me off.

"Someone is attacking the tower?" Alexandra asked.

"Wonder Girl, Viper, get your suits on and meet us outside," Damian said. I nodded before grabbing Alexandra and teleporting us to my room.

I teleported Alexandra and I to the roof of Titan's Tower just as Blue Beetle slid in front of us.

We looked up to see Beast Boy as a green bear fighting a boy with raven black hair. He flew midair, making it hard for Beast Boy to reach him.

"Viper!" Damian yelled, making me look at him. Him and Raven with fighting, or trying to fight a black and white blur. A girl stopped behind him, punching his back with incredible speed before turning into a blur again. Damian fell to his knees, an angered look on his face.

"Wonder Girl, help Robin and Raven," I said. "I'll help BB." Alexandra nodded before turning into a black wolf and rushing to help Raven with the blur.

I teleported to Beast Boy just as he shifted back. "Hey V," he said, panting a bit. I nodded at him before turning my attention to the boy. I noticed that he wore a black leather jacket over a red, black, and blue spandex suit, an S insignia on his chest.

"Superman wannabe huh?" I said. The boy directed his gaze at me.

"Look, I don't want any trouble-" he started but was cut off by me throwing a throwing star at him. It bounced off easily, making me frown.

The boy balled a fist before flying toward us with inhuman speed. BB and I jumped to the side, causing him to crash to the ground. I stood up, seeing the boy standing in front of Beast Boy as a kangaroo. He drew his fist. I pulled out a grappling hook, shooting it at the boy's wrist. It wrapped itself around his wrist. I yanked on it as hard as I could, but his fist only pulled back a small amount.

"Oh shi-" the boy then swung his wrist over the side of the tower. "SHIT!" I yelped as I let go of the grappling hook. I quickly teleported to the tower's roof. "Not cool!" I exclaimed, turning invisible. I teleported onto the boy's back, wrapping one arm around his neck, the other searching for something in my belt. "Hold still," I mumbled as the boy flew around and spun, trying to get me off his back.

He stopped, making me inwardly swear. I yelped as he reached back, grabbing my collar. He pulled me forward, holding me midair. I reappeared, squirming in his grip. I noticed Damian pull out a weighted rope before throwing it at the boy. It wrapped around the boy's neck. He pulled on it, hard, making the boy's head pull back, a choked sound coming out of his mouth.

Suddenly, the girl from before rammed into Damian, sending him flying off the tower.

"Robin!" I yelped. I growled before pulling a small box out of my belt. I opened it, before holding it in front of the boy. He looked at it, before releasing me. He fell onto the tower's roof, hard, creating a dent. I closed the box as I fell after him, before teleporting to the hard surface.

I let out a breath as Raven flew up from the side of the building holding Damian. I glanced at Alexandra, seeing her help Beast Boy up. We all approached the fallen boy.

"Hang on!" The same girl appeared in front of him. "This got out of hand," she said. I took in her features. She had curly black hair with purple streaks and purple eyes showing through her mask. She wore a black spandex with a large white lightning bolt symbol across her torso.

"Who are you?" Raven asked, stepping forward.

"I'm Zap," the girl said, helping the boy up, wrapping an arm around his waist. "Or Alex. This is Superboy or Connor."

"I remember you," Damian said, pointing at Superboy. "You're Lex Luthor's clone."

"Thought so," I hummed. "That's why the kryptonite worked."

"So that's what Kryptonite feels like," Superboy said weakly. "Ow."

"What are you doing here?" Alexandra asked.

"Not that we mind," Beast Boy said, winking at Zap.

"We're here to join the Teen Titans."
