*One Month Later*
"Do you always wear that uniform?" I asked, flipping over Damian as we trained. "I get that we're training and all but it's just us."
"I only take it off to bathe and sleep," Damian stated, running at me with his katanas.
"You should really take it off more often," I said, leapfrogging over him, grabbing his hood and pulling it with me, causing Damian to fall on his back. "And you should really lose the hood, it's slowing you down. Or maybe I'm finally better than you." I smirked.
Damian did a starfish kip-up (I LEARNED FIGHT WORDS), making me roll my eyes. "You'll never be better than me," he said, getting into a fighting stance. "I was trained by-"
"Ra Al Gul," I said as Damian and I circled one another. "I know. You yell it every time you and Bruce fight."
"Maybe you shouldn't listen," Damian said, jumping up and bringing his katana down on me.
"Dude, the whole of Gotham can probably hear you," I said, catching the blade between my palms. "Y'all are loud." I kicked up, hitting Damian's wrists.
Damian glared at me through his mask before letting go of his sword, dropping and sweeping my legs out from under me. I grunted as my back hit the mat and the katana clanged next to me. "Told you, you can't beat me," Damian smirked. I stuck my tongue out at him. "You're so childish," he said, helping me up.
"I am the perfect amount of childish," I said, handing him his katana. "And it's called having fun. You should try-"
"Robin, Viper, report to the meeting room," Starfire's voice came over the speakers in the corner of the training room.
"Let's go," I said, grabbing Damian's hand and teleporting both of us into the meeting room. I noticed Starfire, who occasionally came to give us missions, Alex, Alexandra, and Connor.
"I hate it when you do that," Damian said, yanking his hand away.
"Blah, bleh, blah, bleh, boo," I mocked childishly as Damian walked towards the group. I quickly teleported between Alex and Alexandra.
"Bad day in Wayne world?" Alex asked.
"No, this is just normal for them," Alexandra said. "Sibling banter."
"Yeah," I shrugged. "I'll probably be over it by tomorrow. Damian just won't know we were mad at each other."
"Y/n," Starfire said, making me quiet down. "You five have a mission." she grabbed the remote to the tv and pressed one of the buttons. A man, seemingly in his early twenties appeared on the screen. He had shaggy red hair and insane green eyes. "This is Simion Field."
"I've heard of him," Damian said.
"Yeah," I added. "Batman was suspicious but didn't have enough evidence to put him behind bars."
"Then you already know why we're after him," Starfire answered.
"Not exactly," I said.
"Batman wouldn't tell us anything," Damian said bitterly.
"Simion has been running an unground bar for teenagers and is suspected to be kidnapping young girls," Starfire said, motioning to Simion's picture. "This is a listen and report mission. Alex, Alexandra, and Y/n will get the information we need-"
"Because we're the women," I scoffed.
"As much as I do not appreciate the view of woman, I must admit it will work in our favor for this mission," Starfire said sadly. "Damian and Connor will stay back and step in if needed."
"We can handle ourselves," I said.
"Yeah," Alexandra chimed in. "Just because we're-"
"It is not because of your gender," Starfire said firmly. "It's just a precaution. In case Field tries to take any of you or sees past your... act."
I noticed Alexandra and Alex shuffle uncomfortably. Alexandra and I had gone on missions similar to this, but I usually distracted the person while Alexandra stepped in with the fighting. I always knew she was uncomfortable with the flirting factor, especially because of the fact that she was aro-ace, and Alex just seemed uncomfortable with the whole idea, understandably.
"Maybe, I should just try and convince Field to give us the information we need," I said. "Alexandra and Alex could help the boys and keep an eye on me. Besides, if three teenagers advance on him, he might start to suspect something."
"True," Starfire said, putting a hand to her chin. "It would also be similar to you and Alexandra's few previous missions." I nodded. "Alright, Y/n, you question him carefully and the rest of you, watch her back and the rest of the club. If you see anything, do not engage." We all nodded. "Good, now get ready. Your all going clubbing."
