We open to a sorceress incanting with a voodoo doll of Arthur. She is cursing him and the kingdom and setting it up as if to look like it was done by the people who are travelling to Camalot from another kingdom.

TITLES RUN

We come back to everybody waiting in the Citadel (by the steps). The visitors are arriving in Camalot. It is a king from one of the kingdoms who are good friends with Camalot. They dismount from their horses and Arthur greets them – the kings hug and joke. Merlin helps the serving girl (the sorceress) with the luggage.

There is a banquet. We see all the known couples having a nice time together. The band then starts to play a waltz. Arthur invites Gwen to dance, which then prompts Gwaine to ask Kate and a few other people from the crowd to join. The king who is visiting asks someone in the crowd to dance with him, she is honoured. The serving girl hints to Merlin about dancing, but it goes over his head and he carries on refreshing people's drinks.

Merlin is stood at the sides watching them all. He then notices that the chandelier, which is directly above Arthur and Gwen, starts to swing as if it is loose. As it falls, Merlin shouts Arthur. Arthur pushes Gwen out of the way and the chandelier lands on him, crushing his left leg. Merlin and Gaius rush to his side. Gaius believes his leg to be broken and orders for the knights to move the chandelier and carry him to his chambers.

Cut to the next morning. Gaius is assigning bed rest to Arthur. There is a knock at the door. It is the serving girl (sorceress). She has come to tell Arthur that she saw the other king order someone to loosen the chandelier and that he made sure the band would play something to dance to. Arthur thanks her and assures her that she should not be worried about him saying it was her who told him. She leaves, with an evil look on her face.

The two kings argue, and they declare that they shall have their revenge. They basically declare war.

Arthur orders Gaius to help his leg as best he can, as he cannot having people fighting for him, not without him. We then see people preparing, training, Arthur telling them strategy ideas. (montage)

Cut to Gwaine and Kate talking. They are saying their 'if we die' speeches to each other. They say 'I love you' for the first time. It is very sweet and romantic.

We then cut to the battlefield. The fighting starts. Merlin sees the serving girl in the treeline using magic. He tells Arthur immediately. They both realise that the other king has been enchanted. Arthur knocks him out and they bring him to Gaius. He has a potion to free him from the enchantment. It works.

The kings apologise to each other and they have a laugh and a joke. We watch the people from the other kingdom leave. Arthur has the sorceress in the cells, she is to be executed later that day.

Cut to the execution. She talks to Merlin (Emrys) through their minds. She says stuff like; I'm disappointed, why are you letting this happen, he's evil, you shouldn't be his servant he should be yours, I will forever believe in you, etc. She dies.

We cut to everyone having a good day, being happy. Arthur and Merlin have their usual banter.
