"Do you like red?" Blare called to Lily in the bathroom who was trying a green tea dress.

"Yes!" She flattened out the material with her hands, opening the door to the main living space.

"Okay screw red, you're wearing that." Blare admired Lily's figure.

It was a soft satin green tea dress that went down to her knees. It had wide spaghetti straps and bustier top with five small buttons in the middle. There was a small and delicate bow at the end of the buttons, the waist snitched in. The skirt pleaded out like it had sticks holding it out so it wouldn't fall. But it was soft and held its' elegant shape. It accentuated Lily's difference in waist and hip. Her arms were tan, for winter weather that was, and the nails she got done— insisted by Blare— made her appearance complete.

Blare told Lily that everyone here would have an extensive wardrobe with items for every occasion. Lily read the packing list and it said they only needed the necessities, so clean cut pantsuits and ball gowns weren't something she had on hand, nor that she thought were necessities.

Thankfully, Blare was extremely rich, like the rest of the competitors, but she was kind about it and humble. She had a large variety of dresses she told Lily she could wear at any time, as well as, a rack of dinner party dresses that were passed to each of the girl's dorms— courtesy of Queen Jamie.

"Let's see," Lily said, running her hands over the fabric. She stepped in front of the large and gold floor length mirror, and looked at herself.

"Not bad." She said after a few seconds of gazing.

"Not bad?! Lily you look incredible!" Blare smiled.

She sat Lily down by her shoulders and began twisting it in to an up-do with multiple mini braids and twists.

"Is this natural?" Blare said as she pinned a Bobby pin in to a bundle of hair.

"The colour? Yes." Lily answered while putting some gold shimmer on the insides of her eyes and a bit on her nose. A signature of hers.

"Your highlights are beautiful, your whole head is." She admired Lily's colours, it was hard not to while spending 15 minutes on it. Blare curled it softly to make it more bendable for styling.

The colours wrapped around the hot curling iron and looked like the golden path that Dorthy walked on. It smelt good too, whatever shampoo Lily used Blare wanted some.

"And... done!" Blare smiled at her masterpiece.

"Where did you learn how to do this?" Lily admired, not touching the artwork but just waving a hand over it.

"My mom." She answered simply.

"You look amazing, what time is it?" Lily asked as she clipped her watch on herself.

"5:50, we should go now." Blare said as she grabbed a small purse and put a tampon and her phone in it.

"One last thing," Lily grabbed a tube of liquid red lipstick and smeared it on to her lips, perfectly arching her Cupid's bow and filling her bottom lip. "And we're good." She said as she doubled checked herself and grabbed a light green wrap.

The white watch was on her left and a gold bracelet was on her right. She had on a pair of strappy black high heels similar to the ones she wore at the MOM party but the heels were larger then the other pair so she found it easier to walk in them. Emphasis on easier, they were still difficult and she needed to walk back and fourth a few times to get comfortable.

The two girls checked each other's appearances one final time and headed out of their dorm room. It locked behind them and reminded Lily of the moment she had a few hours ago with Mal, where she heard that exact same click.
