The Town SMP AU

And then, he was gone.

No POV:

The Town SMP was small, but cozy. Everyone knew everyone. Knew their whole family, if they got a pet, if one of the newbie drivers got a car, if someone's struggling. Especially if someone went missing. It was a kind community, everyone was smiley and nice to everyone.

Dream was the popular kid that everyone enjoyed to be around. He made you laugh in the darkest situation. He made anyone smile with a joke. He was also the Principals son. She was good with that though. When he was in school he wasn't treated differently, he got in trouble the same way. Even the younger ones liked Dream, he and Drista were the famed and loved pair of people.

And then, he was gone.

Puffy POV:

I wasn't at school that day. The Vice principal was in charge that day. Word around the SMP was Dream left to start a NEW SMP. That takes a lot of planning. How long has he been trying to do this? My duckling. Gone? He can't have gone too far. Aw who am I kidding, he has enderpearls and is one of the best speed runners in the whole of Microsoft(Earth to them). Oh! I'll call Sam. He's the warden of the Juvenile Center on the outskirts of town. He will know what to do!

*Ring*

"Yello? This is Awesamdude." He sounded like he was driving home. Hopefully he's doing it safely. If he dies I'm gonna kill him.

"Sam I need your help." My voice is wobbly I've been crying for hours now. Foolish is worried, I've told him it's fine, neither of us believes me.

"I heard. I've been looking. That's why the audio is scuffed. I'm looking for him." I just noticed how scared and anxious he seems. I am gonna owe him a dinner at Jacks Pub. Third time this week. He's way too nice, I'm gonna go broke just repaying his kindness.

"Thank you Sam. Wait, I think George, Sap, and Callahan are gone too. More people will be easier to find right?" I'm hoping it helps him, he's so nice. Everyone needs a Sam in their life, I'm lucky to get an original.

He sighs. "Puffy I'm so tired come help me look for YOUR son please?"
"Yeah I will. Cords?"
He gave me the cords and texted me last minute texted

Samwich :D

Ay Ponkies' gonna be here too, K?

                                                Yeah it's cool man.

I show up at the cords to see Ponk and Sam chatting. Correction; arguing.
"No Sam! Lemons are better!"
"No oranges are better! They are sweet and have many different types as well as having a delicious juice!"
I rolled my eyes. They had this argument too often.
"Are we finding my duckling or not?"
They jump when they hear me talk. Ponk Audibly yelped.
Sam suggested we split up and text if we find anything. That was the best plan so we did.

Time skip- 2 hours.

We meet back up where we started. Ponk was late, so we waited for him. Then ten minutes go by. Then twenty. Then thirty. He's gone?

"Where the heck is he???" I yell. I won't lose him too.

Sam POV:

"I have a family tracker on his phone. He turned it off. Or he joined another SMP out of range. He promised to NEVER turn it off. I think he joined Dream." I looked at my messages, I saw a notification.

I start to panic. We had a safe word. Oranges. It was a funny haha joke so it would be easier to remember. Never would I think he would use it. And not now especially.

"Puffy. He needs help but I can't find him..."
I start to panic. Five people in one day? Im the warden. How did I let five people get lost. I can't get upset now I have to find them.
