Chapter 43: Memory

Bo: Meggy, you're first.

(She then opens the data Aziz gave to her & here, it plays a video)

~2003, Port Aurora~

(It's a normal night on Port Aurora, but on the lighthouse, the Keeper noticed something weird)

Keeper: Hmm... this is odd. (eyes onto Meggy's guardian Pod heading to the city) Oh no.

Inkling Wife: I'm so glad we had our honeymoon here.

Inkling Husband: Yeah, by the time we're out, we might bring a child here.

IW: Tell me about it.

(Suddenly, the pod crashed & Meggy's soon parents took cover. As they inched closer, the Keeper stopped them)

Keeper: Halt! Don't go any further. We don't know where it came from or if it's toxic, but you should-

(The pod opened & out of it, came a little squid baby. The wife then pushed him off to carry the child.)

IW: Don't you understand? This might be a gift from the heavens. You would understand, right?

Keeper: Yeah, but-

IH: Look, we're already married, & are about to have a child. You'd at least give this one a 

chance, would you?

(As soon as he thought about it, the Keeper knows he should'nt seperate it from the family)

Keeper: Alright, but there is only ONE condition.

IW: Anything.

Keeper: We should promise that we'll never talk about this. EVER

IH: We promise.

Keeper: So, what should we name for this little rascal?

Meggy's Mom: How about... Meggy?

(But then, some bystanders about to come here, putting the three in a panic.)

Keeper: I think that's fine, just please get out of here.

Meggy's Dad: Thanks sir, we won't forget you.

(The parents then left the are, with their new child in tow. The Keeper then sheds a tear as the crowd arrives.)

Bystander 1: I noticed somthing fell from the sky! What happened?

Keeper: Don't worry. What you're seeing here's a new place for the fountain. We had to lay out the ground first.

(Meggy's origin video then ended, on which she's left shocked)

Meggy: Wait, does that mean the stork thing was a lie?!

Lo: You ain't gonna hear the end of that.

Bo: Wanna go next, Kel?

Kel: Bring it in. (inserts her pod into her computer)

(Just then, Luigi, Whisk, & Auri came out & noticed the gang)

Luigi: Hey guys, what you're doing?

Mario: We're looking onto Lo & Kel's origin stories.

Whisk: Mind we join in?

SMG4: Yeah. The more, the merrier.

(As the trio settled in, Kel's origin story started playing)

~May 24, 1998, Hyrulean Hospital~

(On the waiting room, little Zelda's waiting in exhileration for her little sibling. Her father, however, is nervous onto her wife's health.)

Zelda: Daddy, do you think we'll have a little girl?

Rodan: Why so, sweetie?

Zelda: Because they might be less mean & more delightful when she grows up.

Rodan: Good to hear that.

(Suddenly, the doctor comes in & gives Rodan some news. His smile then faded to a frown, & tears started pouring out. As the doctor left, Zelda's left in question)

Zelda: We're gonna get a girl, right?

~The In-Between~

Senko: *sighs* I'm so sorry, my little girl. Guess i didn't make it in time.

Alouisius Bori: First time here?

Senko: Yeah. & just about to bear a second child, too.

AB: Yeah. It's so sad for the child to follow it's mother before it's born.

(But then, the sky "shattered" as Kel's pod arrives)

AB: TAKE COVER! (ducks under presumed table)

Senko: Take cover on what?

(As she looked back, the pod PIERCED through the belly & off the dimension. Senko's first shocked on this, but then feels sus)

Senko: Wait? Where's my unborn child?!

~Hyrulean Morgue~

Worker 1: Alright, just put the body in for a few days. We need to prepare her soon.

(Just as Worker 2's going to place her body in the container, her belly deflated. Then they heard crying noises. As they took a peek, they realized she bore the child upon death)

Worker 2: Whu- How's that possible?!

(For notice, the pod had pierced through Senko's astral body. It gave her enough shock to give birth at the real world.)

Worker 1: i don't know, but you'll keep it.

Worker 2: Why?!

Worker 1: Because they spread the news. It might be too late to tell them now.

Kel's adoptive dad: Yeah, you're right. At least i'm heading to a different city already.

(The video then ends as Kel sheds more tears)

Kel: I can't believe it. He'd actually stole me from royalty?

Bo: Yeah, i called your dad, & said that he's sorry about your origins. He's cool now.

Lo: Don't worry. I surely hope that mine would be less heartbreaking.

Luigi: You can say that again!

(Bo then plays Lo's video)

~December 1, 2001, Universe Poyo~

(On one day, the Kirby's came together for a meteor shower. However, one of them lands at the forest, forcing two Kirbys to investigate)

Purple Kirby: I wanna see if this alien's new here.

Orange Kirby: Slow down, you know how hard it is to fly here.

(As they arrive, they noticed a small Yellow Kirby & no Pod in sight. The two Kirby's looked in amazement as another of their kind arrives.)

Lo: mamma?

PK: Do you have any parents?

(Lo then nods, prompting the would-be parents in pity)

Bo: Don't worry. We'll take care of oyu. For your papa *garbled due to some static* & mama Bo.

(The video then ends. As the gang's shocked to that sudden reveal, Lo's in tears when he realizes her mother)

Lo: (to Bo) Seriously?!
