Chapter 42: Hunt

Bo: Listen, Port Aurora ain't be just any other place, it's like a miniverse squished onto the other big universes out there.

Meggy: But how does that apply to me? My mom said I was born on Inkopolis.

Bo: Because that they had to keep that secret safe from you. & now that you've grown enough, it's time you knew the truth.

Meggy: Dang! That's a lot to take in.

Kel: I know right? I mean, how is this logical I'm a SMG in the In-Between?

Bo: The In-Between is actually also a universe. A very special kind where all that died end up.

Lo: & we actually have been local visitors there.

Bo: Anyways, since it was heavy to consider, i'll give you all some time to think about it. Then we'll find it out.

Lo: (to Meggy) Are you sure about this?

Meggy: Yeah, just give it a month or so. I'mma go to Saiko's apartment. It be a while before i got to see it.

Bo: 'kay, see ya.

(As Meggy left, silence fills up the room. For the next month, Bo's busy locating their pods. Finally, on June 19, she found them.)

~Peach's Castle~

Bo: Alright. It's time for us to find each of your answers. SMG4, you know where it is?

SMG4: Yeah, it's in the Dark Web after i accidentally threw it in.

Bo: While your team (Mario, Melony, Axol, Bob) are heading there, the girls (Kel, Meggy) will find theirs.

Mario: (pumps shotgun) Don't worry. Mario's gonna help more this time.

Kel: Better don't risk your head, Mario.

Mario: We got this, Kel. Hope you found what you're looking for.

Meggy: Are you ready, King Pipe?

KP: At your service! Just hop in.

SMG4: (gets disgusted) I think we'll use the bridge. See you later, guys. (the dang departs for their adventure)

KP: Ok then. Kel, you're up.

Bo: Kel, your pod's located somewhere in Hyrule Castle. Better ask your sister about your mom, she'll get a note.

Kel: Got it. (proceeds going in King Pipe & starts descending) Good luck.

Bo: Meggy, you're next.

Meggy: Actually, Auri's calling to substitute sheriff Aziz now about my pod.

Auri: Hey there Aziz, is there a structure that looked like an USB?

Aziz: Actually, there is. Right at the main fountain.

Meggy: How do we even miss that?

Auri: IDK.

(Aziz then goes in & heads to the pod's control room)

Aziz: This is trippy.

Bo: (lends the phone) It had to be trippy. Do you see the USB port?

Aziz: I guess.

Bo: Now connect your phone, copy the pod's files, & send them here.

Aziz: This is gonna be tiring... (plugs it in & sends the files to Bo) It's gonna take a while. Anyways, i'm gonna go. See you soon.

Auri: Ok bye. (ends the call) It's been done Meggy.

Meggy: Ok then. Should we just wait a bit?

Bo: Yeah, sharing data between universes can be tiring.

~Later, 6pm~

(Recently, Kel came back from the pipe)

Zelda: So how did it go?

Kel: A bit better than expcted. When I told my sister about our mom, she led me to her final resting place. That's when I find my pod in one of her dress' pockets.

(She then reveals her small pod, which depicts a glass cover & a merely gray engraving on it)

Lo: Can you please insert it here? They're gonna be back any second now.

(& so they did. SMG4's gang [minus Bob] have arrived back at the castle)

Bo: You got some details on your origins?

SMG4: Sure did. Should we hear theirs first?

Bo: Later, because for now, we'll be looking on their origins.
