It was now Friday and the new girl at Woodsboro High was ecstatic about the first week of school begin done and over with. Abi thought the only good thing that came out of her week was meeting Stu Macher, the tall boy with gorgeous blue eyes and a smile to light up any room he walked into. They had become friends even though they had only known each other for less than a week.

Abi hadn't talked to Stu since he and his parents came over to her aunt's house. He wasn't in the classes they shared, so she presumed he was just at home when in all actuality, he was plotting and executing his play for senior pranks all day on Wednesday and Thursday. He wanted to make sure he had time to get all the supplies, despite being in eleventh grade.

Abi drove herself to school, as she planned on doing every day for her junior year. There was no way she was getting on a high school bus. It smelt like teen boy BO and piss.

As soon as Abi stepped foot on the school campus a cheerleader walked over to her, "Hey! You're the new girl, Abi, right? " The cheerleader was dressed in the school colors, navy blue and mustard yellow. She was medium height, around 5'5, with short blonde hair that stopped just above her shoulders. Her wispy bangs were cut short enough that you could see the end of her forehead.

Abi got out of the car and stuck her hands in the pockets of her light-wash bootcut jeans. "Yeah, I guess I am." She chuckled and smiled gently.

"You're so pretty! You should try out for the cheerleading squad. Only the prettiest people get asked. " The blonde cheerleader winks and hands Abi an information flyer about tryouts. "Silly me! I forgot to tell you my name, duh! I'm Casey, Casey Becker. " She smiles at Abi, but all Abi can think about is how Casey doesn't remember how she would mercilessly bully Abi for every reason under the sun.

"So will you come?" Casey waits for an answer with a patient smile.

"Maybe, I'll think about it." Abi locks her car and begins her walk into the school.

Abi continues throughout her school day, debating whether or not to go to tryouts for the cheer squad. The 4th period dragged on and Abi was ready to have a break from learning, even if she was sitting alone.

After what felt like 3 hours, the lunch bell finally rang and Abi was the first one out of the advanced placement math class. She begins her walk to her usual lunch spot under the tree when she passes Stu and his group of friends.

"ABI! ABI ADAMS!" Abi looked over to the fountain where the friend group typically eats lunch. "ABI, COME HERE!" Stu called her, jumping up and down. Abi took her time walking over there. She was a bit nervous about talking to these strangers. She barely remembered her classmates from elementary school.

"Abi! Hey! " Stu looks at her and says. Abi nods and says hello to the boy and his friends, who were all looking at her. "Guys, this is the chick I told you about," Stu tells his friends.

The strawberry-blonde girl who was sitting next to Stu stands up and shakes Abis's hand, "Stu told us all about you. Hi, I'm Tatum. " Her smile was very pretty. Abi smiled back.

"Billy." The brunette boy said with a cocky nod. "That's Sidney. She's a bit shy around new people." When Sidney pushed his arm a bit, the boy known as Billy chucked at her attempt to push him.

"Hey, I'm Randy!" The other brunette boy smiled.

Abi had noticed that Randy was wearing a Jason Vorhees shirt. "Cool shirt!" She gestured to the movie-obsessed geek.

"Thanks!" He replied with a blush.

"Awe look the geeks got a crush!" Stu pointed out with a laugh. Billy rolled his eyes at the interaction, while Stu and Tatum laughed a bit. Abi couldn't help but chuckle to herself.
