Abi had barely gotten any sleep the night of Casey's death. She was supposed to sleepover that night. Abi decided she wouldn't do anything the next day, so all day Sunday she lay in her bed. Abi barely moved that day. She wouldn't eat either.

Around ten in the morning she got up to get a water bottle, that was it. Abi then returned to her room to watch Boy Meets World reruns. Casey adored the show and the girls would watch it after a movie when they were falling asleep.

When Monday rolled around, she wasn't ready to go, but she had to. There was a cheer meet today and the co-captain, well, captain, had to be there. She didn't want to listen to the gossip about who killed Casey, and she most definitely didn't want anyone to tell her they were sorry about losing her best friend and her boyfriend. But she went anyway.

She had to walk to school that day. Her car was still at the Beckers'. She was thinking about going and getting it, Abi didn't want to disturb the Beckers tho. They were still grieving, as was she.

 When she got close, she saw all of the police cars and news vans. As she walked by Gale Weathers's news van, she whispered, "Fucking vultures."

"Excuse me?" The news reporter walked over to her and stuck her microphone in Abi's face.

"You heard me, all of you are only here to get the best story. The girl isn't even in the ground yet and all of you are here. " Abi pointed at Gale's chest and walked away.

"Wait!" Abi turned around, "Could I interview you?" The audacity of this woman, Abi thought.

"Oh yeah, sure!" She faked saying, "Here's your interview." Abi flipped off the camera with a cold look on her usually smiley face, and with that, she walked away.

When the bell for class rang, the teacher started talking about the tragedy. She was interrupted by the school secretary, "James, office please." 

Abi didn't think she had to go to the office for questioning as the police already questioned her, stranger things have happened though. They had already asked her why she was there, how well she knew them, and if she saw anything. Abi knew she would never forget any detail of that night, she made a fool of herself by playing in Casey's organs, and then she was blubbering like a baby while people were trying to talk to her. If Casey were there, Abi knew she would've made fun of her to no end. 

Abi mostly kept her head down until lunch. She looked out of the window. She wasn't able to look at Casey's seat in any of the classes they shared. It hurt too much, she would remember all the comments that Casey would make about the teachers and how they would get in trouble for laughing together but they never cared.

When she finally looked over at the forever empty seat, her stomach flipped she knew she was gonna vomit. Abi just couldn't handle it so she got up and bolted to the girl's bathroom. She ran at lightning speed.

After it had felt like she ran a marathon, Abi went into the stall and quietly gaged. She was eye-level with the toilet.  She overheard people talking, intrigued, she listened.

"It was obviously her, she killed them!" Abi heard a feminine voice say.

"Why would she do that? Seriously, that was her boyfriend and her best friend." The other girl asks, flushing the toilet.

"I think she had a crush on Casey Becker so she killed their boyfriends so they would be out of the way, they would both be single. Then she told Casey but Casey was freaked out and was gonna go to the cops so Abi had to kill her to ensure she wouldn't go to jail!" The first girl said. Abi fought the urge to cry, she had no clue people were thinking that she killed not only her best friend but her boyfriend.
