Y/n's POV:

"I thought Ravenclaw's were supposed to be smart.." the scarred boy muttered under his breathe.

I snapped my head up, glaring into his olive green eyes.

Remus raised his hand in surrender, the other holding open a Potions textbook.

"That's quiet prejudiced," I glowered, my lips twitching.

He shrugged,"I didn't mean to offend you it's just," he looked down at the book,"You're good at all your subjects and all of a sudden you're failing potions?"

"So?"

"You seem so present in potions." His hand stretched out to me.

"Well, I just can't seem to find the time for it anymore." I muttered, placing my parchment in his hands.

"Why's that?" He wondered aloud, scanning my parchment intently.

"I have a life outside of Hogwarts, Remus." I responded lamely.

"Oh right," his eyes met mine,"I forgot you attend a class back home Sundays," he looked back at the parchment,"Godric, you're penmanship is worse than Peter's."

My face flushed red,"My penmanship is just fine, thank you."

"You just have poor eyesight." I snarkily added.

His eyes flickered to mine,"I have excellent eye sight, dear."

"And I have excellent penmanship, darling."

Remus chuckled, shaking his head before he handed my parchment to me.

"Are you finished yet?"

"Yes,"

He hummed,"Good, let's start."

I'd met Remus on the train three years back for the first time. I'd heard of the infamous Marauders but I'd never crossed paths with them until third year.

Remus was trying to get away to read his book somewhere peaceful and I was walking to stretch my legs.

We bumped into each other and I almost knocked him over. I apologized profusely but he laughed it off and said it was fine.

I invited him to my compartment, where my friend and her boyfriend were and we immediately bee hived to a compartment further down. We got to talking and we had quite alot in common.

After that, whenever we'd pass each other, we'd greet and exchange a few words or have a full blown conversation. The marauders often accompanied Remus but he was also mostly alone at times. But they never bothered me or dragged Remus way when I was with him.

Sirius tried that in fourth year, and Remus glowered at the male from above, Sirius shrinking under his gaze before he ran away.

But, we started getting closer now in fifth year because I needed a tutor for Potions. I was going to ask Severus or Lily but Remus had jumped in and said he'd happily help me.

I was thankful as I didn't really know Lily or Snape well enough to approach them and ask for the assistance.

Remus was also a great teacher. He was patient and he explained things well. He never shared too much on a subject and made sure I fully understood something before moving on to the next.
