Y/n's POV:

It's been a few years since that night.

Cordelia was brutally murdered by her three sons, Beatrix was killed by a vampire hunter that Reiji hired and Christa was locked up in her tower.

The boys are all young men now and in highschool.

Karl Heinz has still been trying to win me over and has been 'courting' me, even though I never agreed and turned him down.

I was on my way to the boys mansion. I haven't seen them in years because I fled towards the outskirts of Japan.

I just had enough of Karl Heinz. He made my blood boil yet he also made my stomach turn.

I parked my car outside the gates of the mansion, killing the engine.

I sighed, resting my hands on the steering wheel as I took my bottom lip in with my fang.

I didn't think this through.

What if the boys aren't happy to see me? I did leave after all without notice. Everything that unravelled afterwards could've and would've been prevented if I had stayed.

I shook my head, running a hand through my h/c hair,"Now, now, Y/n. You've driven all this way. There's no turning back now. If they aren't happy, I'll leave. Simple." I mumbled, stepping out of the car and grabbing my f/c suitcase.

I locked the car, putting the keys in the inside pocket of my coat and began pulling my suitcase with me.

I walked through the open gate towards the front doors of the mansion.

I gulped, feeling nervous.

I should've stayed in bed this morning.

I took in a deep breathe, closing my e/c eyes before I brought my hand up, knocking loudly.

I waited, my hand retreating to my side as I began to look at the courtyard.

I frowned,"They really need to take better care of the plants."

"It's none of your concern. Now, if I may question, what are you doing knocking on our front door at this ungodly hour?"

I froze, my heart dropping to the pit of my stomach as my e/c widened in shock.

I slowly turned on my heel and looked up into those purple-red eyes behind a pair spectacles.

"R-reiji..." I stuttered out.

His eyes widened, his stoic and calm demeanor fading and being replaced with shock and hope.

He took a step forward, hesitantly.

"Y-y/n? A-a-aunt, Y/n?" He stuttered out, looking down at me.

I smiled softly, extending my hand out and softly placing it on his pale cheek.

He shut his eyes, leaning into my s/c hand before he opened them and pulled me into a hug.

I was in shock as he hoisted me in the air, my feet dangling before I giggled and wrapped my arms around his neck.

He placed me back down and I looked up at him, smiling guiltily.

"You've, grown up." I mumbled, placing my hand on his cheek once more.
