Best Birthday!

Luke's POV

I was so excited for her birthday I had planned out everything, this was going to be a happy birthday. She was finally going to get the good birthday she deserves. The present I got her was the best part. I walked into the dark bedroom and shook her body awake. Her eyes fluttered open and a smile made it's way to her beautiful face.

"Hey! Sleeping beauty your awake, I thought I would have to kiss you to wake you up." I giggled

"Well, you know I'm still really tired" Kenzie smirked as I leaned in to kiss her on the lips. I pulled away and a smile was plastered onto both of our faces.

"Happy Birthday!" Everyone yelled as they jumped into the dark bedroom.Leave it to Ashton to stub his toe on the wall. He stumbled and landed directly on top of me knocking me onto the floor.

"Luke are you okay?" Kenzie asked pushing Ashton off from on top of me and helping me off the cold floor.

"Yeah I'm fine Ashton is just a little fat" I joked while sitting on the bed next to her.

Kenzie's POV

After everybody left the room Luke carried me bridal style into the kitchen where a large breakfast was waiting for us. I sat down in the chair next to Luke while drowning in one of his sweaters. Calum carried in a boatload of gifts into the crowded kitchen.

"Awe guys you really didnt need to get me theese." I said feeling guilty. I tucked a piece of my curly hair behind my ear and turned to face Calum as he talked

"Yeah we did it's your birthday" I turned towards the huge pile of presents on the floor and reached for the one on top. I pulled appart the edges of the bag to reveal 6 tickets to the voice singing competition.

"OMG! I screamed at the top of my lungs running over to Jade and Maddi right away knowing it was for them "Wait there is 7 of us you only got 6"

"Well we only need 6 tickets because you are not sitting with us, your performing."

"OMG...OMG...OMG...OMG...OMG...OMG!" I said while breathing really heavy, I washaving a panic attack. Suddenly I felt extremely light headed and I started to fall backwards when Luke caught me by my waist. My bodywent limp and I couldn't move.

"It's okay she just hyperventilated she will be fine just help me bring her to the couch and Luke you lay with her to keep her calm. She really hates this medecine so just like hug her because if she wakes up and I am giving her this she will punch me." Maddi ordered

"Medecine?" Luke asked

"Yeah she used to have panic attacks all the time when she was a kid, but then she stopped taking them about 3 years ago." Maddi replied. Luke held onto me while Calum got me a glass of water, and Maddi poured the horrible tasting liquid down my throat. I could feel the burning sensation of the medecine draining into my body. I hated this stuff. When I could move my body again I tried to grab who ever was in front of me giving me the medicine but my arms were being held down. I looked up to she Luke pinning me against the floor. Calum reached down and handed me the big glass of water while Luke let go of my tiny wrists.

"Thanks Calum." I pouted

"What I dont get a thank you for saving your life." Maddi joked

"Yeah thanks guys" I stated while Luke helped me up of the hard floor. He gave me a tight hug and I wrapped my long monkey arms around him. Our hug was broken up by Calum shoving his present in front of my face. I pulled away from Luke and ripped open the small gift. Inside was a beautiful necklace with everybodys names dangling from the chain. I noticed that Calum was looking down at his feet and I ran up to him and hugged him tightly.

"Thank-you it's beautiful." I said the sound muffled by his chest. I pulled away and handed him the necklace so he could hang it from my neck. A smile made it's way onto my face when I noticed that mine and Luke's name had a small heart conecting them. He was so sweet. Next was Micheals present now this one was going to be intresting. When I opened up the small box inside was a shirt,I unfolded it and it was a 5sos crop top. It was really nice to it was black with the 5sos symbol in the middle.

"Thanks Micheal." I said giving hima slight hug. Next was to open Ashtons present, I was really confused as to what it was because it was wrapped in a giant box. I started pulling at the wrapping paper only to find another box inside. So I kept peeling it layer by layer till I got to the gift. I side was a picture frame witha picture of all 7 of us laying on the beach. Before all the drama, before the accident, before everything. It was just a simple picture of all of us. TOGETHER.

"Awe Ashton I love it thank you." I said while pulling him in for a tight hug. Then I looked at Luke he was just sitting there until he realized that it was his turn to hand down a present.

"Oh shit its my turn!"Luke said as he ran off into the bedroom revealing a piece of paper. I opened it up and read the heartfelt words

Dear Kenzie,

I know that a letter is a really clique thing to do but it was my best option. When I first met you guys on the plane that was the best day of my life. Not only because I made three new friends for life but because I met a girl that well two girls that could change my life forever.(In a good way) If you didn't come too Australia, or if we wouldn't have overheard you singing we would have never met you. I tried to imagine that but I couldn't, and that triggered something inside of my brain. Kenzie I am falling hard for you and even if you dont feel the same I wanted to ask you one question will you be my girlfriend? (Even though we are already considered dating this question still needed to be asked)

I quickly checked the box next to yes and handed him back the paper a smile formed on his face and he came flying towards me arms wide open. I hugged him back and then pulled away to look at his face, his blue eyes were staring directly at mine so I spoke to fill the akward silence.

"Luke, whats my other suprise?" I asked curiously

"Calm down curious goerge let me go get it." He joked well getting up from the chair and walking to the closet. He pulled out something wrapped up in a blanket and placed it on my lap. I ripped off the blanket to reveal a beautiful acoustic guitar.

"Oh my god Luke...wait I dont even know how to play guitar?" I asked witha confused face

"Well you do have one pretty awesome boyfriend to teach you, for free." He joked. I put the guitar down gently and jumped up into his arms well he swung me through the air.

"BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!" I squealed
