My name's Vienna, or my fake name, but this is my story.
After the Royal Mint heist 2 years ago, I was finally free. Moving back to Albania and seeing where I grew up again was the best decision I had made in those 2 years. The rest of it was filled with happiness, something I hadn't experienced in a long time.
I spent the first year and a half with Nairobi and Helsinki in Argentina. It was so much fun with them but I knew that I needed to go back to Albania for a while.
That while didn't really last when someone I recognised as someone who worked with the professor silently left a letter at my door and then walked away. I knew that it couldn't be good news.
It told me that I needed to get to Madrid urgently. I didn't pack much thinking that it wouldn't take long, I underestimated how serious this would be.
Denver and Nairobi were my best friends and I had gotten way closer with Helsinki when we finished the heist than before. I loved everyone else, but they were the people I loved most. And there was also someone else.
3 years earlier:
I had woken up early in the house in Toledo and gone out for a jog, but what I was really doing was finding a secluded area to smoke weed in.
I found a large rock that I sat on and lit the joint when Berlin in a suit and with his hands in his pockets walked round the corner and caught me.
"Shit." I mumbled knowing he was in charge of the heist and would probably have something to say.
I had only been there for 2 days but I had already noticed him staring at my ass in class and smirking at me. If I'm honest, he was hot and I didn't really mind, but he could get on my nerves really easily.
He walked over and sat next to me on the rock. I didn't know if he was going to say something but I just continued smoking.
"How did you find me here?" I asked.
"I come here every morning for peace." He responded. "I didn't expect you to be here."
We didn't talk for a while but it was nice, until the wind started getting stronger and I started shivering.
He noticed quickly and took his blazer off, putting it around my shoulders. I smiled lightly at him.
"Why did the professor put you in charge?" I asked.
"My people skills." He replied.
I raised my eyebrows and chuckled.
He stepped off the rock and then turned around to face me and held his hand out to the side.
"Today's lesson is explosives, we should go." He spoke calmly.
I sighed and chucked the joint and took his hand as he took me back. That was the day I had realised that I was falling for him.
Present time:
After the long plane journey and the taxi ride to the harbour, I still didn't know what to expect.
There were planks of woods leading above the water and to this boat where I could see the professor trying to steer the boat and Tokyo trying to help him. Everyone else was around.
"What so no one was going to wait for me?" I asked with a smirk on my face.
Everyone turned to see me and then the professor started driving the boat back towards me.
I couldn't wait though, I had jumped onto the boat and then into Denver's arms. He spun me around and we both laughed.
I did the same with everyone else but noticed Tokyo had a sad smile on her face that threw my off my happiness when I realised that Rio wasn't there.
