Trust Me

I ran to the elevator that took me to the bottom floor where the vault filled with water was. It's also where Nairobi, Bogotá, Denver and 4 of our team members disguised as hostages were.

They had gotten it open, and Bogotá had now blown up the safe to where all the state secrets were.

The governor had refused to go into the vault and Denver had head butted him and his head had smashed into the back of a pipe. Nairobi was trying to stabilise his heart.

"Give me a wet suit!" I shouted to them. Denver passed me one and I put it on immediately while also getting my oxygen tank on my back.

Once I was inside the water, I swam past all the shining gold ingots and straight to the red locked boxes.

Grabbing 2 of them, I swam back and out of the vault.

"What's going on?" Palermo asked frustrated with an eye mask over his eyes.

"Just trust me for now Palermo!" I shouted back.

I ran back to the elevator and Denver came with me.

Tokyo and Stockholm were upstairs with the hostages when I heard the sound of glass shattering. The police were shooting fire smoke bombs into the building. That's when I realised that I had no time left.

Denver grabbed my arm as I started to walk towards the front entrance.

"What are you doing?" He asked. I carried on walking.

I grabbed a white cloth on one of the tables as all the hostages were being sent outside with masks and fake guns over them.

Armoured trucks and special armed forces were all ready to strike with everything they had.

I slammed the button on the door that opened it. Without a mask, in a wetsuit and smoke surrounding me, I walked out there.

"White flag!" I screamed waving the flag above my head. "White flag!"

At this point, every gun was pointed at me and every camera recording and taking photos and everyone including the professor watching this from security cameras were confused. This was not part of anyone's plan.

With those state secrets in my hands, no one would shoot at me. If they were to get released to the public, the government will be taken to court and hell would break loose. They were the key to everything.

I walked straight out into the streets still waving it above my head.

I stood there, still until I knew that they had realised what I was holding in my hands, it only took them a few seconds. I carefully observed as I saw the snipers all pointing at me, take their fingers off the triggers and the special armed forces started to back away from me.

I threw the boxes as far as I could further into the streets and then started to walk backwards.

Putting my middle fingers both up and laughing, I ran back into the building, knowing no one would shoot me. It was the best feeling ever.

They were left speechless, and I was left victorious, as always.

2 and a half years before:

I had gone to the bathroom to wash myself when the door opened behind me and Berlin walked in, checking out my body.

"Could you be any less subtle?" I asked.

He smirked. He started slowly walking towards me.

"What do you want to do when we get out of here?" I asked him.
