Stockholm broke up with Denver but I didn't know why. I could've done the same thing he did if I was in that situation.
They were both arguing in the basement where all the gold was and Bogotá had called me to ask if I could get Denver to come back upstairs so they would stop fighting.
The elevator dinged and I walked out of it to the basement. Both Denver and Stockholm looked at me as I walked towards them.
"What are you doing here?" Denver asked.
"I was sent to get you." I smirked.
Bogotá gave a little salute sarcastically and then walked away.
Me and Denver came back upstairs to see Tokyo pointing her gun at Palermo who was by the button that opened the front door with a little briefcase in his hands and in a black suit with Helsinki running down the stairs to see him.
"What the fuck is going on?" I asked loudly.
"Palermo thinks he's leaving." Tokyo told me.
"What?" Denver asked.
"That's right, I'm leaving." He spoke but just as he was about to press the button, Tokyo shot at the button, blowing it off completely.
I could see there were 2 explosives pointing towards Tokyo and the hostages behind her, and then Palermo pulled out a lever that would set them off.
"Either you let me out, or you go boom." He spoke.
"Palermo." Helsinki panted. "You won't do it."
Helsinki reached down and then picked up one of the explosives. He then went and picked up the other.
Palermo's finger was on the lever; but then tears filled his eyes as Helsinki then wrapped his arms around him.
Tokyo grabbed the lever out of his hand and me and Denver looked at each other in shock.
2 and a half years ago:
Me, Berlin and Helsinki were the only ones left who hadn't gone through the tunnel yet, and the police were close.
"Berlin it's time to go." I told him.
He smirked at me, slowly shaking his head but then his face dropped.
"What are you doing?" I asked concerned.
"You need to leave." He raised his eyebrows and Helsinki was behind me.
"Not without you." I said firmly.
"Helsinki, get her out of here." He told him.
Helsinki took my arm but I shoved it off me.
"Berlin, what the fuck is going on?" I questioned.
"They're here and if you don't leave now then you'll be dead!" He shouted.
"And what about you?" I shouted back. "Do you expect me to leave you here?"
"I knew you wouldn't, which is why Helsinki needs to get you out of here that's a fucking order!" He told Helsinki.
Helsinki's arms then wrapped around my waist and picked me up, tugging me to the tunnel.
"Berlin please no!" I screamed. He looked away trying not to show me he was crying. "Berlin!"
Present time, 10 minutes later:
Tokyo had gone to call the professor while I was upstairs with Nairobi. She was still out of it but I was right by her side and Bogotá was behind her, I had never seen him so sad. I was so tired.
