2 months later:

It was zero hour, and we were ready.

That day, 140 million euros rained down on Madrid from blimps in the sky with the Dali mask on it so people would know what it was about.

As people scrambled to collect the money and chaos broke out, the professor had hacked into every advert screen in the city.

Wearing a Dali mask and a red jumpsuit, everyone stopped to look at him on the screens.

"We need you." The professor started talking. "The state has declared a war on us, a filthy war. And we've decided to face them."

He slowly took his hood down and his mask off to reveal his face to everyone seeing this in Madrid.

"The police have detained one of us in a foreign county. Anibal Cortez." He spoke. "It's been almost 2 months since his arrest. He's not been in the news or any papers, which means he's being tortured. So we demand that this illegal detention be brought to an end immediately and that he be brought to justice in a way that respects legal standards. The state started this war, and we will not hide. We will fight, blow, for blow. And this time, it will be an even bigger heist."

He then shut off the camera.

We were in a warehouse waiting anxiously for the professor to speak to us through the walkie talkie that Palermo was staring right at to tell us that we needed to go.

We had 2 armoured trucks in the warehouse with a everything we could possibly need in there and disguised ourselves in military uniform.

Tokyo was pacing and Nairobi was finishing loading up the rest of the guns.

I could see the tension rise when Denver and Monica started to talk, they had an argument a few nights ago and to be fair, he was a bit out of line.

The professor and Raquel were all set up in a caravan next to a beach where no one would see them. They were ready, we just had to wait until it was our time to get ready.

"Now." The professor panted.

We all started to move. I put my gun around my body and then got into the back of the truck with Nairobi, Denver and Monica. Bogotá and Tokyo were driving it and everyone else was in the other one.

As it started to drive, an awkward silence filled the back of the truck as Monica tried to avoid Denver's eye contact and me and Nairobi were looking at each other and then looking at them.

3 days before:

I was sleeping in a room with Nairobi and Helsinki when we heard Denver and Monica arguing in the room above us that woke us up.

When we heard their door open and close, me and Nairobi jumped up to see what the fuck was going on.

"Wait don't leave me alone!" Helsinki spoke.

I giggled and nearly tripped before then walked out to see Monica walking down the stairs to our floor angrily.

"Are you ok?" Nairobi asked her.

"No." She replied.

"Not surprised, we heard everything." I told her.

Then Denver came storming downstairs.

"You didn't hear what I said!" He shouted.

"She heard everything you caveman!" Nairobi shouted back. "Go to bed!"

"I was talking to her!" He yelled and then another door opened and a frustrated Palermo in his dressing gown came out.

"What's going on?" He asked.
