Chapter 8~ I Promise Nothing's Going On

I was thinking Bella would look like Nina Dobrev!:) I think she is drop dead gorgeous and just ugh I love her so much:):):):)

{Sam's POV}

When I get home from the studio, I start to rummage through my closet to make sure I have something for Halloween Ball. I'm so excited for this; I've always wanted to go to one of the school dances with someone. Take pictures in the photo booth and dance the night away. Respectfully of course...

"Sam where did you put your suit?" I yell at myself, getting slightly annoyed hat I haven't found it yet. After probably 15 minutes I finally find it. I take it out and grab my iron. Whenever I'm about to iron, I laugh at myself for being a guy who knows how to iron. When I finish my suit, I plop myself down on the couch. I sit in silence as millions of thoughts flood my mind. Thoughts about the dance, my music career, if it will become an actual career, David.....and Ed. I close my eyes and just forget everything.

******Skip ahead to Halloween Ball day******

It's finally here. Halloween Ball. I'm so nervous that I'm going to make a fool out of myself or embarrass David. I'll tell you now, I don't exactly know how to dance. Instead of spending the day with David, I go to pick up Ed. We both need to get our masks for the dance. I guess you could say it's kinda fun gat everyone has to wear a mask since it's Halloween. I wait outside Ed's house, eager for the day to fly by. 10 minutes later, and Ed still hasn't come out.
That dipshit probably forgot I was picking him up today, I say to myself shaking my head. I grab my phone and dial his number. He picks up on the second ring.
"Where the hell are you?! I've been waiting outside your house for the past 10 minutes!"

All I hear is Ed laughing in the background.

"Oh shit I'm sorry man, I totally forgot you were picking me up today! I'll be out in 2"

See, I told you.

"Just get your arse out here before I drive away batch." I giggle before hanging up.

Ed stumbles outside, one shoe in his hand the other on his foot. When he climbs in the car I just laugh at him. "What is it?" He asks putting the other one on. I shake my head and drive away. Inside the mask store, we goof off more than shop. Ed jumps out from one of the isles, a satan mask on his face. "Do you think Bella would still go with me if I wore this?" Ed asks, taking it off. I chuckle and say, "who wouldn't want to go with you in that mask?!"
We both crack up, and search some more.
Finally, after what seems like forever, we settle on black masks with different designs. At the checkout David texts me a picture of his mask.
"Hey Ed, look at this!" I exclaim holding my phone out to him. He examines the photo then puts two and two together.
"Hey David and I have the same mask! I hope nothing goes wrong tonight with us wearing the same mask..." Ed quiets down and looks away.

That was weird, was he trying to get at something? Like a hidden message?

I let the thought exit my mind and focus on my perfect night.

Ed and I go pick up Bella and David so we can all hang out while getting ready. "Bella first then David?" Ed asks as we pull out of the parking lot. "Sure I don't care."

Bella hops in the car putting a kiss on Ed's perfect lips. "Hey guys! Ready for an awesome night!?" Bella babbled holding up her dress and shoes. We just laugh and and continue our drive. Once we are all in the car we make our way to my place. Bella, Ed and David throw their stuff in my bedroom then come back out. When we all snuggle in the living room when David asks, "When was the last time we all hung out? I feel like it's been ages!"
"I agree, I think the last time was when we all went to the water park for a mini vacation; maybe a month ago?" I say, realizing how much I've missed my squad.
"Well I'm glad squad is back together and conquering Halloween Ball." We all hysterically laugh at Bella's comment.

3 hours later

{Bella's POV} SURPRISEEE!!!!

When I lean over Ed's lap to look at the clock. The time seemed to go faster than I had wanted it to go. "Oh shit" I say, "guys we need to get ready if we want to make dinner by 6 then get to the dance around 7:30!" I jump up and help Ed up. Sam, Ed, and David follow me into Sam's bedroom for our outfits. "Since I'm the only girl, I should get Sam's room to change in." Ed shoots me a look and says wrapping his hands around my waist "I think since I'm dating her and have seen her practically naked I should be able to change with her." I glance at Sam, seeing that he is a little disappointed in what Ed said. Like he didn't want him seeing me change or something. I shake off my thought and sigh. "Okay fine Ed, but David, you and Sam get the living room." They both nod and walk out. Ed sits on the bed and looks at me. "So when is the stripper show going to start?" Ed smirks. I giggle saying, "There's no stripper show so don't worry about having no singles." Ed gives me a puppy dog look then leans back on the bed.
I turn around so I'm facing the wall with a mirror. I take off my shirt, noticing Ed peeking. "Ed! No peeking!"
"Oh come on Bella, I've seen you in just underwear and a bra, it's not a big deal."
I know he's right, so I just continue to undress. "You know, you're very beautiful" Ed softly says. I blush at his compliment and look in the mirror. He stands up and hugs me from behind and whispers, "I love you so much." I kiss his cheek and grab my dress. I slip it on and adjust. It's slim and fitting on my torso, then is gown like from my waist down. Ed zips me up and starts dressing himself. I grab my mask and head to the bathroom. I apply my makeup and do my hair and by the time I'm done Ed is ready too.
"Sam! David! Are you guys decent?!" Ed yells through the door. "Yeah come out!" Sam hollers back. I grab his hand and walk out of the bedroom. David and Ed stand up and both compliment me on my dress. I blush a little and reply, "You both look dashing yourselves." We all grab our masks and head to dinner. David suggested we go to Bravo, and non of us disagreed.

I love Bravo; it's one of my favorite restaurants. We all sit down and order our food. Ed gives Sam a "more than just friends" smile and David sees. He scoots closer to Sam and puts his hand on Sam's thigh. Ed turns his head and rolls his eyes. I smack his thigh and glare at him.

Dinner was great and but by the time we finish its time to get to the dance. I hold Ed back while Sam and David head out the door. I grab his wrist and spin him around.
"What was that all about?" I question him tightening my grip. "What are you talking about?!" Ed spats. You're kidding me right Ed?
I shake my head. "You were acting so weird at dinner and why was David eyeing you like you were trying to get with Sam??"
He stays silent for more than I wanted him to.
"Okay Bella first of all why would I be 'eyeing him' like that? Second of all, I have no she's for anyone but you." Ed slowly walks over to me and puts his hands on my waist. "I love you so damn much Bella, it hurts sometimes." And with that l, he kisses that all too familiar spot on my forehead. I lean into him and let him hold me for a couple minutes. Sam bursts through the door and he looks a little annoyed.
"Are you guys coming or not? We need to go!" I step back and pick up me dress a little. Sam hold the door open for me and gives me a shy smile. We all hop in the car and drive to the dance. "Everyone got their mask?" I ask, putting mine on. David gives me a thumbs up and we walk out. The air is cold against my skin, my breath coming out in puffs every time I breathe out. "I hope nothing goes wrong tonight with me and Ed," David chirps. "like one of us ends up with the wrong date or something..." I eye Sam and continue walking.
"I think we can all tell the difference between David and Ed; Ed has red hair and David has blonde hair." Sam says quietly. "True, but it's going to get dark in there-" "is there something you are trying to get at David?" I cut in. David looks at me with surprise in his eyes. "I'm sorry, I'm just a little cranky; I didn't mean it." I shake my head and look up at him. He smiles at me and tells me it's okay. Ed comes up behind me and bear hugs me. "You guys go ahead, we'll be there in a little bit. I have to show Bella something first." Ed yells at David and Sam. He takes my hand and takes me off the path to school.
"Ed what are we-" his lips attach to mine interrupting me.
"What was that for?" I smile into our kiss. "I just want you to know I love you. Like a lot." I smile again and give him one last kiss. "We better get inside, the dance starts in 10 minutes!"
