Your still on the floor thinking about what just happened. It happened right? your pretty sure you just collided with Dave while knocking off his oh so cool and mysterious glasses which, you thought was just part of his douche cool guy look. Apparently not.
"(f/n)!" You turned around to see a panting John still smiling like a idiot holding the box.
"were did you go?" John ask when he finally catch his breath as if he just ran a marathon, well you are quite fast but being John he probably over did it.
"I just tripped and ran into someone" you say laughing it off while you get up hoping he wont ask questions, which he doesn't. John looks at you with a apologetic look and hands over the candy, you both laugh walking back t the lunch room.
-Quick Dave point of view-
Dave walked as fast as he could down a random hallway to catch breath he didn't know he has been holding, finally stopping by a locker bay he went over the situation in his head and tried to push his anxiety about it behind himself. No Strider will get caught up over a cute girl.
-Back to your point of view-
As you and John went back to the table Nepeta stands up to meet you guys.
"(f/n)! I decided to cancel our plans! and throw a little party with everyone instead! hope thats ok and that mew will come right?" Nepeta looks at you intensely
"of course I would love to come and I volunteer John to be my escort so he by default will come as well" you reply with a smile looking at John who, shakes his head at you like a dad.
"yay! cant wait fur it now!" Nepeta says happily and goes back to the table, you and John follow.
