The Great Escape...

Kitara followed close behind. "Those were some great costumes. But, why did they lock us up? Those bars around the cell felt real and the guard wasn't too gentle when he stuffed that gag in my mouth..."

"Maybe its part of an act?"

Kitara shook her head but followed Alex. Alex was walking through the large room and about to walk into another. Kitara nudged Alex so that she would check the room out before they walked through.

Alex checked the next room. Seeing as how no one was in there she walked right on in. "I think were inside a carved out cave. It looks like sand stone..."

Kitara looked to her right to see a huge stone chair. "Wow, look at that." She ran up to the chair and sat on it. She threw her legs over one of the arms and leaned against the back of it like a bored ruler of some sort. "Hello my faithful subject. What can I do for you?"

Alex, ever so eager to play along, no sarcasm included, got down on her hands and knees and started praising the dark skinned ruler. "Hail the queen! I am forever at your command!"

Alex and Kitara started to laugh. They stopped when they heard someone speaking. And they could hear them walking towards the room they were in now.

"Go check on those two prisoners and report back to me immediately." The leader, as was guessed, ordered another man to go check on the cell that the girls were no longer in.

The other guy could be heard walking away but the "leader" sounded like he was coming right this way.

The girls started to panic.

Kitara hopped off the stone chair and ran over to Alex. "Alex, I don't think that these guys are acting." She grabbed Alex's arm.

Alex looked at the giant stone tablets across the room that had weird carvings on the front of them. Since the rooms were only lit by torchlight it was hard to see what was carved on them. It looked to her like blob monsters.

"We gotta hide." She grabbed Kitara's arm and pulled her across the room and they both hid behind one of the giant stone tablets. "Stay still and what ever you do, stay quiet."

Kitara was about to say something when the "leader" walked into the room.

Alex and Kitara stuck there heads out to take a closer look, but before they could get a shot of the guy's face as he sat down on the giant stone chair, the other man he had ordered to check the cell was back. And he was not exactly happy...

"The prisoners, they've escaped." The guy huffed in a panic.

"WHAT?" The "leader" shot up and banged his fists on the stone chair's arms. Reclaiming his cool he smiled to himself. "Those two are very clever. It takes a lot to take down a man twice your size. Maybe when we catch them I should persuade them into joining me." He dropped his smile and looked back to the guard. "Round up everyone, including the men in the other base and go look for them, they couldn't have gotten far."

"Yes sir." The guard called the other three guards from the other rooms and they all ran out of the cave and through a door that the girls hadn't seen before.

Kitara and Alex had found their exit. They both had seen the guard Alex had taken out earlier. He needed a huge icepack for his eye, nose, and the funny bump growing on his forehead.

The girls watched as the guy sat down on his "stone throne" in the exact same position as Kitara had earlier. This was a plus. The guy wouldn't even notice them leave since he was facing away from their exit. They would have to be extra quiet and get across the room before the guy saw them.

Alex pushed Kitara ahead of her to go first. She followed close behind her friend as they silently stalked toward the opening which now they could see one more carved out room and a bright archway up ahead which must be their exit.

Kitara stopped short when she heard the leader speak again.

"I wonder how those two would do to become my right hand servants or even personal maids... Surely I could take back all the millennium items and claim my revenge on my own, but with these two, it could be more interesting..."

Kitara whirled around at the recognition of the guy's voice.

Alex did also. But she prayed that Kitara would stay quiet. Not gonna happen.

"Once I obtain those two girls then I could-" He was cut off by the squeak of a fan girl. He turned in his seat and stared at the two girls across the room from him, his escaped "prisoners".

Kitara was getting ready to shout. The girls could see him now under a close torch. Alex tried to put her hand over her friend's mouth. Too late...

"Ohmygawds! It's Bah Bah!"

Alex smacked herself in the face and dragged her hand down her face as she sighed. Great, the handsome King of Thieves, with spiky platinum silver hair, deep brown eyes, great tan, and a smexy body fully packaged with the irresistible scar under the right eye... Yup, it had to be him. Bakura, Kitara's favorite bad ass who just so happened to wear a purple skirt and at the time no shirt, wonderful... Alex did think that he was hot though...

Bakura just stared in a daze.

Kitara was too happy and too far into fan girl mode. "IT'S Bah Bah!"

Bakura looked at her dumbfounded. "Wha?"

Alex grabbed Kitara by her arm. "Uh, time to go sis, Bakura has other things to do. Like try to kill us..."

Kitara put up a fight at first but was quickly dragged away literally kicking and screaming while Alex used all her strength to haul Kitara out of the room and to the archway which was there exit.

As soon as they ran outside Alex could hear Bakura not too far behind. The sun was just starting to come up. She found one horse tied up to the side of the cave's entrance. When Kitara reached over to grab the horse's reins, Alex pulled her friend's hand back just in time. The horse lunged out and made a grab for Kitara's hand. Alex got pissed and walked right up to the horse. The horse made a lunge for her arm but Alex was quicker. She slapped the horse right on his nose, making the chocolate colored beast's mouth clamp shut like a mousetrap.

Alex grabbed his reins and pulled his face close to hers. "I know that your not stupid so I'll tell ya this once beast. Try any crap wit me and you'll get a mouthful of missing teeth, got it?"

The horse shook his head. Alex shifted the reins and threw herself onto the large creature's back. She stretched down her arm and pulled Kitara up and over to sit behind her. She nudged the horse to full run and they sped off across the sandy sea just as Bakura came out from under the exit and just watched them ride off. But as Alex looked over her shoulder she did not like the smirk on the King of Thieves' face...
