A few years later

Natasha's POV,

What was supposed to be a few months mission ended up being five and a half year long mission. But It was finally time, time for me to go home, I had this anxious feeling just thinking about it. I kept in contact with Clint and Fury over the year's, that way Steve knew I was okay if he ever asked.

"You ready to leave?" Yelena asked me as we arrived at the airport

"Yeah, I guess" I replied nervously

"It's okay to be nervous" she told me

"I know, I just hope she forgives me" I replied

"She will" she stated in a matter of fact tone "now come on you're gonna be late" she added as she took my hand and dragged me into the airport

"I'll miss you" I said with a sad smile

"I know, I will miss you too" she replied as she pulled me into a hug

"I love you and I'll miss you" I stated and went to board the plane

After almost a 11 hour flight I was finally back, back home, in New York city, I never thought I could miss a place so much. As I walked of the plane I saw Fury standing outside the airport door waiting for me. I quickly ran as I saw him and gave him a big hug.

"I've missed you" I whispered

"I've missed you too kiddo" he replied as he kissed my forehead lightly "now let's go, the avengers are waiting for you" he said

I don't know why but when he said that my stomach started to do flip flops. I think it was because I knew I had to face Steve for the first time in over five years.
Fury and I got into the car and started heading twords the Avengers base, it was time for me to face the family I decided to leave behind without giving them any explanation as to why.
Before Fury opened the door he turned to me and put both of his hands on either of my shoulders, looking me in the eye.

"I know you're scared, I know you are nervous about facing Cap... But they are you're family I'm sure if you explain they will forgive you" he said

"That's what I'm afraid of, them knowing what I've been doing for the past five and half years" I replied

Fury gave me a look that said he understands before he nodded and took me in for a comforting hug.

"You ready kiddo" he asked me softly

I nodded "ready as I'll ever be"

He then opened the door and all the sudden I saw Wanda she looked ecstatic to see me, she ran to me and pulled me in for a hug.

"I've missed you so much" she said excitedly

"I've missed you too" I replied hugging her back

After everyone greeted me we sat down and we were all talking when all the sudden everyone went quite. Confused I turned around and I saw him the tall blonde blue eyed super soldier that I fell in love with.

"Nat" he said confused

"Hi" I replied with a small smile

"Y...you...your back"

"Um, yeah, I am" I said lowly

I didn't know what to do, I didn't know what to say, I just sat there till Tony spoke up

"We'll let you guys talk" he said and all of them got up and left leaving Steve and I time to talk

"W...where...have you been" Steve asked

At that moment I didn't know what to tell him because I wasn't in one specific place.

"Every where" I replied

He looked at me confused I couldn't blame him I would be confused to, hell I'm am confused.

"What do you mean" he asked

I sighed

It was time for me to come clean so I told him everything, I told him about the text I got that day at the hospital, I told him about my sister, my mom, my dad, how I almost died during an explosion in Germany, how I almost lost my sister in Russia, how I killed Dreykov and Ivan, the two men that made me the black widow I am today. I told him everything.
