Rose

I had No choice

Natasha's POV,

After I told him everything, he sat down and stared at me blankly.
To break the silence I looked at him and cupped his checks in my hands "so you see I had no choice" I said my voice breaking as tears ran down my face

Steve quickly took his thumb and whipped away the tears from my face "I forgive you" he said as he pulled me in for a hug

All the sudden I heard someone come in and turned to see who it was, I saw a beautiful little girl with blonde hair and green eyes "daddy" she said as she ran to hug Steve she then looked at me.
I realized then that the little girl was rose and I smiled.

"Who's she" Rose asked curiously

Steve looked at me and then looked at Rose
to break the silence he finally said "This is Natasha you know the girl I showed you in the photo"

She looked at me "so you're my mom" she asked confused

I looked at Steve in a questioning way and he reassured me by nodding

"Umm, yeah I am" I replied in a hesitant tone

She smiled at me before she gave me a hug "why were you gone for so long" she asked curiously

"Well I wanted to make sure you were safe" I replied

She giggled "that's what the Avengers are for silly"

I smiled "yeah, but this one I needed to do on my own"

"Rose" a voice yelled

I turned to see who it was, a tall Burnett lady came up to us "who are you she asked"

At first I didn't recognize her but I soon realized that it was one of the agent's from S.H.I.E.L.D.

"Natasha Romanoff" I replied with a extended hand the woman looked at me then my hand and scoffed

"Come on Rose it's time for your soccer game" the lady said and Rose took off to put on her soccer gear

"You can leave now you know she doesn't need you, you may have given birth to her but your not her mother" she said in a disgusted tone

At that moment I wanted to kick her a**, but instead I ran out of the tower, I heard Steve call me but I didn't care I was to upset to turn around.

Steve grabbed my arm and turned me to face him "Natasha will you listen to me for a damn minute"

"This was a mistake I should've stayed in Russia, she doesn't need me, I've been gone to long" I said with tears in my eyes

Steve cupped my face in his hands "hey I'm glad you're here and for the record she does need you, and about Lana she's just a friend"

I chuckled "she is not just a friend, trust me I can tell"

"What the hell are you talking about" Steve asked with confusion in his eyes

"I seen the way you looked at her in there that's the same way you used to look at me before I left" I replied

"Please don't leave us again" he said with tears forming in his eyes "I can't lose you again"

"You won't, I'm going to stay, I want to get to know our daughter, there's just some things I have to get settled first" I replied

Steve gave a small smile and nodded

"I'll see you tomorrow" I said

He gave me a smirk and nodded again
And I left

Later that night, I couldn't sleep, ever since I left Steve I couldn't sleep, as the clock kept on ticking I got up and grab my phone and called someone that I knew I needed at this moment.
