Chapter 12

Percy P.O.V

"PERCY", My sister(Jasper) and Annabeth screamed in unison.

After that my friend decided to lick my face.

"Hey Mrs.OLeary", I said with a grin, "Miss me?".

Telos P.O.V

I watched as the hellhound tackled Percy and Annabeth and strangely a girl I've never seen scream his name. I didn't recognize the hellhound from my pack. As the hunters raised their bows to aim, the unexpected happened.....It licked Percy.

"Hey Mrs.OLeary", Percy said, "Miss me?".

"I've never seen that hellhound", I said.

"How would you tell the difference", a camper said. I glared at him

"I spent 2 years training and caring for, every hellhound I found", I said, "I can just tell".

"Prove it" The campers said. I grinned under my hood and whistled.

Suddenly Menos, Omega, and Alpha came out of the shadows.

"These are some of the most powerful hellhounds I've seen", I said, "they obey me with unwavering loyalty, I have thousands more that will come at my command"

They paled a bit, but having godly blood in them, they were stubborn as Hades.

"Bring it", one of them said. I snapped my fingers and my hellhounds left.

"What you scared", Said a camper that I vaguely recognized. I thought about it until i remembered.

"Ah no far from it, I just didn't want the others to get hurt while I killed you", I said while looking him in the eye.

He paled but stood his ground. Then he paled more for some reason.

"Oh do you remember me?", I questioned, "I was just a new camper then, now im much, much stronger now"

He stood there for a while before smirking, "I've gotten stronger too, I've even been blessed by a god".

"How about a match.....too the death", I said.

He smirked and nodded.

Now as the son of death, I just love to kill things. This guy, Max is what they have been calling him tried to touch the hunters when I was first here. The hunters saved me so I owe them my life, I take my debts seriously. And they are the closest thing I have ever had to friends.

We were circling each other in the arena. I waited for him to attack, he didn't disappoint. He lunged at me. He was fast but that wasn't what was going to matter in this duel. As soon as he started to move, I summoned a shadow zone. I waited until his blade was about an inch from my face then I shadow-traveled behind him. He stumbled and fell over. When he was up I commanded the shadows to impale him. I commanded the shadows to consume him so he would be sent straight to the underworld without a body to bury. I released the shadow zone and walked to the hunters without saying a word.

Artemis P.O.V

I watched as Telos went into the arena with the boy. They circled each other until the boy lunged.As soon as he was close to Telos, the same black space that was on Olympus appeared.

After about 60 seconds the black space disappeared but only Telos was there. Where was the boy's body. Telos walked over to me and my hunters without saying a word.
