Chapter 19

Telos P.O.V

I haven't slept at all, I was trying to get away from that woman. I spent two days making a den for the vampires. They liked dark places almost as much as me. Im surprised Pheobe hasn't asked what Levi was yet. Just then I felt a cold hand connect with my face.

"Why didn't you tell me you knew a vampire", Artemis screamed.

"I didn't think it mattered", I said, rubbing my face, "You hit hard"

"Of course I do", Artemis glared at me, "And of course it mattered"

"why", I asked stupidly.

"Because vampires would hate the gods if they found out about us", Artemis said. I was about to reply, but then my vision slowly faded and all I saw was darkness.

Artemis P.O.V

It looked like Telos was about to respond, but he fell on the ground, out cold. I rush to him. I look at him, he seems fine. I pick him up and walk to the infirmary. I lay him on a bed and sit by him. It seemed that he would be fine. Then the screaming started.

Telos P.O.V

"you thought you could get away from me", the woman asked as she slid her burning hot knife across my chest. I flinched in pain. I tried to respond but I couldn't speak.

"You are mine", she stated, "don't try to get away"

The woman slid her knife acrossed my cheek and left a long cut. Red blood with specks of cold in it slid down my face. I winced in pain.

"Now lets play", the woman said.

Percy P.O.V

I stared at the lake. I was relaxing, I had just finished training. Suddenly screams erupted from the infirmary. I got up and ran there. When I walked in the first thing I saw was Artemis. The next thing I saw was Telos. He was laying on the bed, screaming and thrashing.

I sat down, and watched at him for hours before Artemis noticed me. She noticed me and glared at me.

"What are you doing here", she spat. I guess the only male she doesn't hate is Telos.

"I heard screaming", I said, "And I've been here for hours"

She looked a little embarrassed that she didn't notice me. I looked at Telos, he had cuts all over his face. They had been forming, like a invisible knife was cutting him. Then I noticed Artemis glaring at me.

"What", I said then realized she was a goddess, "Milady"

She kept glaring and was about to respond, but suddenly Telos stopped screaming. The cuts on his face turned to scars and his eyes opened. He rubbed his eyes and sat up. He looked at us with his cold, black eyes.

"How long was I out", he asked.

"Around 5 hours", Artemis said.

He was about to respond when a girl burst into the room.

"Artemis I heard you were in here", the girl said, "There was a prophecy"
