The Clock Strikes

Riley's POV

Alex and Liz are doing great. Liz is getting healthier, they said she could go home sometime this week if she didn't have any problems. Alex as been looking after her ever since. He tries to keep her awake until she cusses him out. He'd smile and kiss her cheek.

He just wants her to be able to go home. I can see the worry in his eyes as he watches her conversate. She'll be fine though. Alex is just paranoid.
Ashton and I are putting our wedding plans on hold and waiting for Liz to leave the hospital.

Liz was dying to see Bubbles, so I ran home quickly and got my baby. She barked and wagged her tail as I put her in her cage. When I walked in the room Liz almost jumped out of bed as Alex rushed to her side.

"Go away babe, I just want to see Bubbles." she said as Alex laughed and sat back down. Liz grabbed Bubbles and snuggled him close.

"I'm going to call you Bub's." she said as I chuckled and Bubbles got excited.
Ashton walked in with everyone's food just as I was starting to reprimand Alex for being a worry wart.

"Big daddy as brought the goods." he said as I chuckled and grabbed my BLT. I sat down as everyone stuffed their faces with the delicious sandwich.

"Riley have you thought about where you want this perfect wedding of yours to be?" she said as smiled with lots of sandwich in my mouth.

"I haven't put much thought into that yet, but as soon as your out of here we can go look around together.......of course with Ashton." I said as I chuckled at his face expression before.

"Just make sure that it's not next Wednesday!" she said as Alex made her zip her lips. "Oops!" She said. I frantically looked between them as I screamed softly. "Your preggers aren't you?" I said as they burst out laughing causing me to frown as Ashton wrapped his arm around my waist.

"What the hell is it then?" I said as we all grew quiet. I groaned loudly as they laughed again. They told me it's funny when I'm frustrated or being nosy.

"It's a secret you'll have to wait until Wednesday!" Liz said with a smirk. Alex smacked his forehead. "Liz, no you are giving it away!" He said. I fell back, pouting. "Why trick me, you couldn't just tell me?" I said pretending to be upset as a smile tugged at my lips.

"What the hell Riley, you have just seriously lost it." Alex said as I tried to rummage my brain of the possibilities of what could be going on next Wednesday. I shook my head as Ashton cupped my face in his hands.

"Riley are you sure you don't know what's going on?" he said as he looked worried. "I cross my heart and hope to die, now tell me!" I said as they all stated at me with weird face expressions. "Okay guys seriously is my favorite tv show airing back up it something......oh my god is Grey's Anatomy new season starting up?" I said as they all sat there quietly.

"You guys are fucking scaring me tell me what's going on?" I said as Ashton and Alex walked out for minute.

"What's going on?" I whispered to Liz as she stroked my cheek and smiled. "It's seriously a surprise, but there's something else they are talking about." she said as I sighed. "So I'm not crazy?!" I said as she sat there silent and I chuckled slightly.

Alex's POV

"I'm guessing she never mentioned dementia runs through the family." I said as Ashton rubbed his face. "Shit your not serious?" he said as I patted his back.

"Sorry bud, it's there these are just early stages by tomorrow she'll remember her birthday is next Wednesday and realize the surprise." I said as he slid down the wall.

"Does she know it runs in the family?" he said as I looked dead in his eyes. "No and it needs to stay that way for now." I said as he shook his head. 

Riley's POV

The guys walked back in quietly as Ashton tackled me causing me to laugh. I giggled refusely as he tickled me. "Stop babe-I can't-t b-brea-t-h!" I said through my laughs as he kissed my ear and picked me up.

"Bye guys we will drop by your place in the morning!" I said as they smiled at us both.

Riley does as dementia it's memory loss it doesn't get bad until your really old every now and then it will come up.

Sorry for all the long waits, but I have a secret.

I've been working on TWO new books. They won't be out until after this book though!!!
