Rainbows and Butterflies

A New Year Visit

The young Mare was in her kitchen preparing her breakfast when there was a knock at her door. She walked through the living room and opened the door. "Good morning" Said her friend. "Oh good morning come in" She closed the door as her friend came in "I was just flying around thought I would drop by I'm not interrupting even thing am I?"  

"No I was just making breakfast you can join me" "Well while I'm here" They went into the kitchen" Rainbow Dash sat down "I'm not really hungry I'll just have a glass of milk" She doesn't know what compiled her to come by her friend's cottage other than last night. "Say Fluttershy I about last night" "What about last night?" Confusion showing on her face. "About the kiss" "Oh" A little blush showing on her face. "Yeah that wasn't weird, was it? I mean I didn't think it was" "No it was weird" She place Rainbow Dashs glass of milk in front of her and she sat down. "I thought it was quite nice, to be honest" "Really I mean yeah in a friend kind of way"

They were mostly silent as Fluttershy ate toast and RD drank her milk. "Even plans for today?" "Oh no, I'm just staying home doing some cleaning" "Yeah me just chillin" After she finished her glass of milk She got up. "While I'm going I'll let myself out" "This was nice" "Yeah see ya later Shy" "You Too Dash" She flow back home as she walked in locked around her house she hadn't felt so alone maybe never. "Rainbow Dash" She heard come from outside she opened her door and looked down to the ground in front of the house to see Pinkie Pie. "Pinkie uh good morning"

"I didn't wake you did I?" "No what is it?" " I was just going through my records and I realized I don't Tanks birthday you wouldn't happen to know when that is would you?" "Uh no" "I just realized we've never put on a birthday party or even party for that matter for him" "I guess not" She decided to fly down to Pinkie on the ground. Pinkie Pie always looking for a party "I'm free next Saturday if you want to put on a little party" "I would love to I'll check in with the others bye" And with that, she was gone. It wouldn't be bad she would have to suggest Fluttershys for the party. Returning to her house and going to her room she realized Tanks still in hibernation oh well they could have a little get together even way. She got back into her bed to go back to sleep.
