"Ugh…" The three found two spirits rise from the explosion.

"All right, you two are coming with us," Blaze frowned.

"WHAT?!" Krisha stared at the duo in shock. "Who gave you two the right to take our souls?!"

"I did," Life said floating forward. "Sir Life, protector of all life in this world. And I say, they get to take your souls to Father Death and let him toss you into the fiery pits!"

"WE DON'T DESERVE TO DIE!" Calvin opposed. "What have we don't to ever deserve to be in hell, anyway?!"

"Uh, let's see, make Crusher's life and the lives of everyone you meet miserable?" Blaze said.

"THIS BRAT OWES US FOR LETTING HIM LIVE!" Krisha hissed. "We could've aborted him, but NO, WE DIDN'T!"

"Right now, I wish I WAS aborted…" Crusher murmured.

"SILENCE!" Life took out his sword. "Time to go!"

He swung his blade around, creating a portal around them. They went through with a woosh and found themselves in the astral plain.

"Father Death! We brought Mother and Father-- er, Calvin and Krisha for you!" Crusher said.

"Good…" Death glared down at the trucks. "Satan has been waiting for you two for a while now…"

"WAIT!" Krisha growled. "Why doesn't this hunk of junk go to hell?! He's GAY!"

"If he goes to hell because he's gay then I would go there as well," Life chuckled.

"YOU are gay, Sir Life?" Crusher look bewildered.

Life didn't respond. Instead, he walked over to Death. With his back turned to them, he lifted his visor and pulled on Death's hood to a kiss.

Krisha and Calvin looked horrified while Blaze and Crusher were taken back.

"Well... didn't see that coming," Blaze said. "But nevertheless, can you get rid of them?"

"Of… course I can," Death cleared his throat, tugging on his hood in possible embarrassment as he raised his scythe.

He ripped a hole through the plain, causing a portal to appear. Life set his visor down and snapped his fingers, causing flames to appear in the portal.

"So long, suckers!" Crusher said, sticking a tounge at them.

Krisha snarled and attempted to hurt him one last time. She drove over and attacked him, knowing fully well that they were both spirits, so they were able to get in contact as she knocked him back.

"HEY!" Blaze drove forward and grabbed her. "No WAY are you going to hurt him!"

Calvin hissed, but as he drove to save his wife, Life grabbed him and tossed him into the portal.

"CALVIN!"

Krisha tried to break out of Blaze's grip, but the red truck's grip was tight as he tossed her inside. She screamed as she was met with flames before the portal closed.

"Gone forever, Crusher," Blaze smiled.

"Thank goodness," Crusher sighed in relief.

"So, have you made your choice?" Death questioned.

"We... both decided to stay," Blaze said. "We know we may never see our grandmothers again, but being together is all we could want."

"Aww, aren't they sweet?!" Life giggled. "They remind me of us, don't you think?"

"…" Death face-palmed before creating a portal with his scythe. "Alright, Life, take them home,"

"You got it! Let's go, guys!"

Life snapped his fingers, creating the portal to glow white. He led them inside, and they went through to see themselves back in the spirit part of their world.

"So... how do we do this exactly?" Blaze asked.

"All up to me," Life held out his sword, eyes glowing yellow.

Suddenly, the duo found themselves glowing as well and floating up and above their bodies.

"Well... you ready to do this?" Crusher asked.

"Ready!"

Life grinned and settled them down on their corpses. They felt pain sting towards them as they penetrated through their bodies. They shut their eyes and let out a scream.

And when they opened them again, they each let out a groan because of pain.

"Ugh... that hurt I lot more than I thought it would..." Crusher groaned.

"Yeah…" Blaze hissed before realizing that the others were staring at them in shock and with teary eyes. "GUYS!!"

"BLAZE!! CRUSHER!!"

Immediately, the group wrapped their tires around them, all tears pouring down their cheeks.

"Oh... I thought we would never see you again!" AJ sobbed.

"Sorry for worrying you all so much," Even Blaze was teary as he hugged his little brother.

"It's okay..."

"Man, how long have we been out?" Crusher asked.

"Almost FIVE hours!" Pickle shrieked, hugging the dark blue truck the tightest.

"Sheesh... we were out longer than we thought!"

"But... when we do die again, we won't be going to heaven," Blaze sighed. "We have to stay with Father Death and Sir Life in the astral plain."

"Who are they?" Watts asked.

"Guardians of life and death," said Crusher. "We'll never get to see all our passed loved ones, but... being together will be enough."

"I recommend that you no longer go on many risky adventures, my friend," Roarian suggested.

"Understood," Blaze nodded.

"Huh, I just realized that we never gave Grammy a proper funeral," Darington pointed out.

"We better get planning," Crusher said.
