Chapter-11

Percy POV:

Today was his birthday so Percy got up early and checked his mobile none of his friends wished him. A bit disappointed Percy freshen up and went down. Percy ate his breakfast and said to Tom to inform Harry that he was going to out to do some work. Last 3 days he bonded with the kid while helping him with his homework. Harry told what happened last two years at Hogwarts. They even caused some mischief using harry's invisibility cloak(which definitely gave the same aura as Thanatos).

When he entered Gringotts the front goblin gaurds bowed to him a little low than normal. He gave them a nod as acknowledge of their respect. Percy went straight to the front desk and asked "Hello, i am here to claim my lord rings. Can i meet my manager gurnock?" Goblin looked up bowed and said "Hello your highness. Just a moment". Goblin turned and called "Gurnock, his majesty is here claim his lord rings". Gurnock came bowed  and said "Welcome again Percy, come this way". Percy turned to all goblins and said "Goblins can call me Percy wizards don't know my heritage yet" since no one was here percy said it a bit loud. All goblins gave him a respective nod.

Percy followed gurnock into same room he took blood test. Ragnuk looked up from his desk and said "Welcome again Percy. To become a lord to one of most ancient and noble house you have to swear to protect the women and children of the family. If the magic of that family accepts you, you will become lord. And there's is something else i want to discuss with you. Here is your blood test. There's another family name appeared yesterday". Percy took the blood test from Ragnuk and indeed there's another family name  'Peverell family'. Percy looked up and asked "How did this happen? If i have Peverell blood in me it should have appeared when i took blood test first, shouldn't it?" Ragnuk shook his head and said "No Percy, Peverell family was a special one i think you should ask Lord Death about them. You can't become Lord Peverell just because you have their blood. To become Lord Peverell, along with Peverell blood, you  have to come contact with one of their prized possessions and they should deem you worthy."

Percy thought for a moment, 'yesterday he and harry pranked people. Peverells have special connection to Thanatos' he  connected the dots "Harry's invisibility cloak" said out aloud. Ragnuk nodded and said "Hmm so you met Mr.Potter. After Peverell family ended their possessions fall into different families. Potter family got invisibility cloak like that. It seems the cloak deemed you worthy to have Peverell name." Percy nodded and asked "Shall we claim Lord rings?" Ragnuk said "Follow me Percy".

They entered a room. There's only one table at the centre and around the table were what seems to be ritual drawings. Ragnuk turned to him and said "Go and put your hand on the table. If you are heir to the house you'll know what to say" and went outside leaving him alone in the room. Percy went to the middle of the room.

Percy put his hand on the table and said "I Perseus Apollyon Jackson Shafiq here by swearing to protect The most ancient and noble house of Shafiq and its people as Lord Shafiq" after he said that magic washed all over him. When he looked at his hand there's a ring resting on his middle finger which is a replica of the ring he gifted to Annabeth. Percy said again "I Perseus Apollyon Jackson Shafiq Peverell accepting to become Lord Peverell if the magic deems me worthy" same thing happened but now he didn't have a ring but he knew he was Lord Peverell now. Percy said again "I Perseus Apollyon Jackson Shafiq Peverell Hufflepuff  here by swearing that I'll help the people who were in need and make my sister proud" this time magic was a bit strong, now a ring with the symbol of Hufflepuff sat on his ring finger.

Percy came out of the room and met Ragnuk and Gurnock in Ragnuk office. Ragnuk looked at him and said " Congratulations Percy. Now you are a Lord to Shafiq, Peverell and Hufflepuff and Heir to Slytherin, Gaunt and Olympia". Percy nodded and said "Thank you Ragnuk. Gurnock prepare a list of Peverell properties, possessions and money and send it to me. You are now manager to all of the Houses that belongs to me". Gurnock bowed and said " It was my honor Lord Shafiq" Percy nodded and turned to Ragnuk and said "I want to open a Trust Fund account for my Sister and put one million galleons and half million sickles in it".
