One: Rain, Songs, Moving
"You sure you still want to take him to the beach?" Mother said to Tsukasa. He laughs, and nods.
"Course I want to take him still. Just a little rain."
"Don't get sick." She sighs, and leaves the room.
"Come on little guy." He lends out his hand, and I went to grab it.
He takes me outside with an umbrella above our heads. It was a dome shape transparent umbrella to keep us extra dry.
I am only eight so I couldn't see where we were going. A ton of people seemed to be walking to the beach as well. The rain is so heavy it was depressing. Tsukasa was so set on going to the beach so I decided I will tag along.
"You excited little guy?" He looks down, and smiles.
"You aren't that much older! Only by eight years." I pouted. Tsukasa look relatively young no matter what his age was. He, and I didn't look similar at all. He was really tall, and had a lot of freedom. I guess because of the age gap.
"So you are the brat so you have to listen." He sticks his tongue out at me, and I returned the same thing.
======
We stood by the rainy beach. There wasn't lightening or thunder thankfully, but many people watching the sky. I wondered why. I tug on Tsukasa's sleeve, and he looks at me. "Yeah?" He asks.
"Why are we here when it rains. Makes more sense to come when it isn't." I felt my socks getting soaked from all of the puddles we stepped in. It got a bit annoying.
"I love the rain. There is suppose to be a rainbow that comes out after the rain. I really want to catch that." His eyes glowed while watching the rainy sky. I didn't get his sayings. They were pretty confusing.
"Oh well." I watched the dark stormy sky. Nothing amusing caught my attention.
"Crazy for you...touch me once, and you'll know it's true..." Tsukasa starts singing a Madonna classic. I always wanted to learn the song, but my English is awful. It was so hard to pronounce certain words in English so I gave up most of the time.
"Stop it." I growled. He laughs at me. He knew I was always jealous of his well spoken English. Maybe I will do something for myself, and start to learn.

One Year Later
======"Little brother, why don't you move in with me?" Tsukasa smiled, and stroked my hair.
"But what about mom, and dad?"
"Who cares. They want me to be a doctor, and follow some stupid path. I won't do that. I am moving out in one month. I suggest you come live with me. I will buy you anything you want." He nudges me.
"But mother says she's pregnant. Won't my new brother or sister need me?"
Tsukasa sighs. "Well if you want to be trapped in this place then stay. However, if you want paradise, come live with me."
There weren't many options for me. My parents treated me well, but they were too overprotective, busy, and those things served as a major annoyance in my life.
"I will think about it." I smiled.
======
I thought a lot about my brother's suggestion. It only felt right to be with him. My parents were well with me, but that was only because they didn't speak to me much, and was always at work. A life without Tsukasa will be a lonely one.
