Four seasons had passed since MistClan had settled in the new territory. Over the past 12 moons, the new apprentice Cloudpaw had become the new MistClan warrior, Cloudtail. Featherkit, Stormkit, Streamkit, Shallowkit, Lakekit, Stormkit, and Ripplekit were now apprentices. Featherpaw was apprenticed to Feathershade. Stormpaw (Featherpaw's brother) was apprenticed to Nightstream, Streampaw was apprenticed to Lilypool, Shallowpaw was apprenticed to Cinderpelt to become the next medicine cat of MistClan, Lakepaw was apprenticed to Graystripe, Stormpaw was apprenticed to Fireheart, and Ripplepaw was apprenticed to Angel. These apprentices were now becoming warriors.

After the Clan had settled and gotten used to their new territory, Fireheart and Miststar became mates, having a litter of four kits together who were becoming apprentice: Lightkit who is a dark brown she-cat with amber eyes; Brightkit who is a light ginger she-cat with forest green eyes; Whitekit who is a dark ginger tom with one blind eye from getting his eye snagged on a piece of bracken, and Morningkit who is a dusky brown she-cat with pale green eyes.

"Let all cats old enough to hunt, gather in front of the rock pile for a Clan meeting!" called Miststar from where she stood atop the rock pile. The cats gathered in front of her, the apprentices looking excited and her and Fireheart's four kits looking on with anticipation from where they sat near the front as well. "Featherpaw, step forward." Featherpaw did so. "Feathershade, do you feel that it is time for Featherpaw to become a warrior?"

"I do," Feathershade nodded.

"Very well. I, Miststar, leader of MistClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn." Miststar turned to Featherpaw. "Featherpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do," Featherpaw confirmed.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Featherpaw, from this moment you will be known as Feathertail. StarClan honours your compassion and honesty, and we welcome you as a full warrior of MistClan." Miststar jumped down from the rock pile and placed her muzzle on the apprentice's head, Feathertail delivering a lick to her leader's shoulder.

"Stormpaw, step forward." Stormpaw did so. "Nightstream, do you feel that it is time for Stormpaw to become a warrior?"

"I do," Nightstream nodded.

"Very well. I, Miststar, leader of MistClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn." Miststar turned to Stormpaw. "Stormpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do," Stormpaw confirmed.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Stormpaw, from this moment you will be known as Stormfur. StarClan honours your bravery and honour, and we welcome you as a full warrior of MistClan." Miststar jumped down from the rock pile and placed her muzzle on the apprentice's head, Stormfur delivering a lick to his leader's shoulder.

"Streampaw, step forward." Streampaw did so. "Lilypool, do you feel that it is time for Streampaw to become a warrior?"

"I do," Lilypool nodded.

"Very well. I, Miststar, leader of MistClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn." Miststar turned to Streampaw. "Streampaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"
