Stan looked at the pair with confusing eyes, he didn't understand how Eddie could be marrying some woman that the losers had only found out about a few months ago, when Richie was right there. Before Richie had confessed his not so secretive feelings, he had always known. He always thought that it was going to be Richie and Eddie together, their wedding the losers would be gushing over not Eddie and Myra, it made no sense. Behind Richie's wide grin and loud giggles he could see the pain in Richie's eyes behind those large glasses, it wasn't too hard to tell that Richie had just been crying not too long ago, which made a flash of pain cut through Stan's body.

It brought him back to the night 6 months ago, Stan sat in bed reading a book with the small lamp on the bedside table aluminating some light onto the neatly written font that covered the crispy pages of the book he had almost been finished with. He heard a series of knocks come from his front door along with multiple dings of his doorbell, he ignored it thinking it was just some stupid teenagers messing around and trying to ding dong ditch him, and not wanting to give them the satisfaction of pranking him, he sat still in his bed not moving an inch.

It wasn't till the knocks had proceeded for another minute and Stan began feeling creeped out, thoughts that someone could possibly be trying to break in or hurt him started shooting through his mind. He tip toed into the living room not wanting the possible intruder to hear him through the door and know someone was there, he sat his knees on the couch while squinting through the open blinds and looking towards the porch. It wasn't what he expected, not some creepy guy in a black hoodie trying to break in, but instead a heartbroken Richie standing at his door with multiple tears running down his red cheeks and his bottom lip quivering as he let out low sobs.

Stan's heart dropped at the sight, he had never seen Richie like this. Well, he had seen him almost like this when they were 14 about to be 15. Eddie and Richie had been in a huge argument which destroyed Richie, he knew Eddie would get annoyed with him sometimes which was fine, but to know that Eddie was completely pissed off at him made him feel like he didn't deserve Eddie and that he was an awful person, and the fact that he didn't want to lose Eddie.

But they made up not too long after. Richie finding out that Eddie had felt the same way and spent almost the whole night crying after the argument. But now, this was different, Richie didn't just look sad, he looked heartbroken, crushed even. He had let him inside and that's when Richie sobbed into Stan's shoulder as he confessed his feelings about Eddie in between heavy sobs and shaky breaths. Only Stan already knew about these feelings, not like Richie knew that but he continued to sit there and listen to his heartbroken friend go on about how he was devistated that Eddie was getting married to someone who was in fact not him.

"So Eddie..you excited to get married man?" Mike asked interuppting Eddie and Richie's fit of giggles.

"No not re- I mean yeah sure." Eddie replied, quickly fake coughing awkwardly after answering.

A few of the losers furrowed their eye brows in confusion as they were contemplating if they had just heard their friend right.

"I promise you it's the best feeling after you get married, I mean I would know!" Beverly said as she showed off her shiny wedding ring that fit perfectly on her ring finger, pressing a quick kiss onto Ben's cheek which caused Ben to blush furiously.

A few of the losers smiled at the cute couple before them, Bill was a little disappointed when he first got the news that they had gotten engaged since he had still been in love with Beverly but realized that he wanted his friends to be happy and they would work out better in the long run than he and Bev ever would have. But now it was normal around the couple since over the years he had finally gotten over Beverly and had been confused over his feelings for a certain someone.

"Hey Eds, you okay?" Richie whispered into Eddie's ear while the other losers talked among themselves, the whisper causing chills to go down Eddie's body from the close contact and the feeling of Richie's warm breath against his skin.

"Hm, oh yeah I'm fine." Eddie whispered back and cleared his throat.
