Two birds one stone

Chapter 1- Forest green

             Sara and John B were comfortably laying on the couch, chatting about what they wanted 

to do in their futures. They always seemed like the calm, relaxed type of people, the type of 

people where you can have deep conversations and they wouldn't judge you. Then, you have 

Kiara, JJ, and Pope. Don't get me wrong they are fun and everything but they can be very out of 

pocket, especially Kiara. She will with no hesitation say whatever is on her mind. JJ is getting

 better at it but still catches himself sometimes saying unnecessary things, and of course, as 

usual, they are always arguing about something dumb. This time it was about who was a better

 skateboarder. " I'm telling you Sky brown is by far the best, especially for her a-", Kiara said in a 

stern tone before she got interrupted by JJ. "Mhm for sure Kie but Tony hawk will always be the 

best. He's been around for so much longer and he has his own video game. Now tell me, does

 Sky have her own video game?" JJ shot back. "No", Kiara said while rolling her light brown eyes.

 "Yeah I didn't think so," replied JJ. Pope was sitting on the ground trying to tighten his trucks on

 his skateboard, he didn't mind arguments if they were for a good reason but, these two argue 

about the dumbest things and it does get quite obnoxious. " Will you two just shut up for once in

 your lives? They're both really cool and completed a lot of things, just chill out ok?" Pope said in 

a fed-up annoyed voice. John B and Sara snickered about the two always arguing and talking

 about how they looked cute together but would never admit their feelings for one another.

 Meanwhile, Kaylani was sitting on the sand admiring the waves...She didn't mind being alone, 

she'd always been, ever since 3 years ago. Nova quickly noticed that Kaylani was nowhere to be

 seen. "Have you guys seen Kaylani? I could've sworn that she was with us". Sara questioned.

 Kiara seemed a little annoyed when Sara brought her up, Kiara seemed to have some dislike for 

the girl but she had to act as if they were friends otherwise the whole friend group would fall 

apart. "She's on the sand over there, staring at water.....again". She replied in a rude tone. JJ 

quickly jabbed her in the stomach with his elbow. "Ow! What was that for?" Luna whined. "You

 don't have to be so rude all the time," JJ quickly defended Kaylani. Kie just rolled her eyes as 

she usually does. JJ gazed at the straight-haired brunette, watching as the sun beamed on her 

olive-toned skin. He liked her, he just had no idea how to tell her, or even worse he had no idea 

how to tell Kiara he didn't have feelings for her without causing a homicide. JJ called Kaylani 

over to sit with them. The brunette rose up from her spot and dusted off her shorts from the 

sand, she continued to walk over to the group. As usual, JJ is still admiring Kaylani. He seemed 

to love her two front braids that framed her face and her green-colored eyes that seemed light 

green color in the sun's rays. Kaylani sat next to Damion on the couch, they were so close that 

their knees were touching. The simple act kind of bothered Kie, she always was the jealous type.

 She always wanted to be close with or close to JJ. On the other side of things, Kaylani didn't 

mind the simple act. She didn't try to reposition herself or speak up about JJ's actions. Kie saw 

this and became angry over the two. That's when she noticed that Nova left to get some snacks 

from the shack. Kie got up and went to sit next to JB. John B doesn't think anything of the act

 but is a little confused because he thought that Kie liked JJ. He decides to ignore the suspicion 

and zones back into his thoughts.
