Chapter 4- The kiss

JJ and Lani turned away from the group and walked back to the wreck to get JJ's motorcycle. "It's getting kind of late J, maybe we can go surfing tomorrow?" She asked with pouty lips. "Of course princess, whatever makes you happy". JJ cooed and placed a light kiss on her cheek.

A light pink spread across her cheeks. She looked up at him and kissed him on his lips. JJ's stomach began to twirl in circles as if butterflies flew in his stomach. The corners of his mouth slowly were pulled upwards from his grin, he too was painted with light pink on his cheeks.

He moved his hand from holding hers and placed his arm around Lani's waist. He had a firmer hold on her waist making sure no one would take her from him. They arrived at JJ's bike "Do you think we can go down to the beach?" Kaylani chimed. "Of course Kaylani, I know a spot" JJ cooed. JJ climbed on his bike looking back at Kaylani with daring eyes. " Scared?" JJ taunted.

Kaylani was leaning on the side of The Wreck with her arms crossed. "Of course not, Maybank" Kaylani rolled her eyes and replied with the same daring eyes JJ gave her. "Stop rolling your eyes unless you want me to make them roll" JJ snapped back. Kaylani grinned and pushed her tongue to her cheek. She walked over to JJ and got on the bike holding onto his waist firmly.

"Hold on ti-" JJ warned her. "Just drive Maybank" Kaylani interrupted him. JJ licked his teeth and smirked. Kaylani rested her head on his back inhaling the scent of weed and cologne which she secretly loved.

They arrived where JJ brought his soon-to-be girlfriend. Kaylani let go of JJ's waist and swung her leg around to get off his motorcycle, she started walking down to the beach. JJ quickly got off his bike to catch up with his soon-to-be girlfriend. He caught up with her and held her hand.

JJ led her to a spot under a bush and a tree. "Oh my gosh the moon, it's so pretty" Kaylani gasped. JJ smiled, feeling accomplished by amazing the girl.

He pulled out the necklace he stole from earlier and presented it to the girl. He saw her eyes light up from seeing the necklace. She turned around so her back was facing him and moved her hair to her left shoulder. JJ placed the necklace on her collarbone and fastened the clasps together.

Kaylani looked down at her necklace and smiled back at JJ and hugged him around his neck. JJ wrapped his arms around her waist 
and kissed her forehead.

They let go of one another and laid down on the sand. Kaylani was encaged by JJ's muscular arms. It didn't bother her though, she felt safe and warm in his tan arms.

"You smoke?"  JJ asked as he pulled out a pre-rolled from his pocket. She snatched the pre-rolled between his two fingers and placed it in her mouth. " We're sharing that Lani." JJ scolded her, pulling it out of her mouth. "Fine" she replied in an annoyed voice.

JJ lit the blunt and inhaled deeply soon passing it to Kaylani who mirrored his actions. " When was the first time you got high?" JJ questioned her. She took another long drag then passed it off to JJ. "Back in Hawaii with my cousins" she replied bluntly. "Do you ever miss Hawaii, Lani?" JJ tried to keep the conversation going. "I mean yea, I guess but I like it better here because you're here." She grinned with fuck me eyes.

JJ smirked, eyeing her lips. They were so close they could kiss with one swift accidental movement. Kaylani placed her hands on his chest and gently pushed him away, about to stand up to walk to the water. The blonde boy grabbed her hand "Don't tease me like that Lani" JJ told her assertively, pulling her back down to the sand. She landed right on top of him, her legs straddling his hips and her hands landing right next to his golden locks.
