Serenity Beastie Awards 2021

How this works

So, how do these awards work you must be asking. Well, it is simple! Let us explain.

There will be three rounds and three judges for each round.

We will be accepting 30 books per genre. 

The genres are Fantasy, Sci-fi, Vampire + Werewolf. 

Once we have enough books for each genre, we will release a timeline for the judging and results.

Round one:
Each judge will judge 10 books, 2 chapters each. The top 3 for each judge will go through to round 2. This is done for all 3 genres/groups.

Round two:
Each judge will be judging 3 books. They will read 3 chapters. Once we have the results only the winner for each judge will go through to the final round.

Round three:
This is where 3 judges will be reading all 3 books (5 chapters) and send the results in to us. We will combine all the scores and work out the average. We will then reveal the winner.

Judges must communicate with us. All scores must be written in google docs and you must send us the link via discord in the correct channels. Do not send results in PM'S as it becomes messy and a hassle for us to find them.

Judges must have experience. They must have judged at least two awards in the past and must have proof of this. Judges will also be put through a trial for us to see and gauge at their judging abilities. Judges must be able to write detailed reviews for the books they are judging. No generic "I like this" "you can improve your grammar". We won't accept this type of reviews while judging.

All judges and participants must be 13+ to follow with Wattpad's guidelines and code of conduct.

For all judges forms, we will mark you as "Pending" then we will send you a PM with a link to a google form that you must answer. We will also send you an excerpt for your trial where you must write the review in a google doc and send it back to us. 

Incase there is a tie, the head admin or her moderators will step in and read the book to see which book goes through.
