Jungkook just smiled at her, with tears falling from his eyes. He held her left hand delicately into his own as he whispered after leaning in and kissing her forehead.

When they arrived back outside the hospital, neither got out of the car. They just sat there in the silence, not looking at each other at all. No one had mentioned the moment they had shared in the alley. The entire ride had been silent. Jungkook's confession had made his heart lighten. He was kind of proud of himself. The date went well. Regrets, he had none. Only one thing he knew and that was at this moment there was only one thing he needed, her.
Moon, on the other hand, was feeling out of this world. So many times during the ride, she wanted to tell him, scream at him, and shake some sense into him. But more than that she wanted to assure him. Assure him that his confession wasn't a waste. That it wasn't useless. In fact it was everything she ever needed, wanted and dreamed of.
After few minutes, Jungkook unbuckled himself, taking a deep breath, feeling better than before.
"Baby?" his voice came out soft. But Moon didn't look at him. She was looking outside the window as she gently nodded.
Jungkook nodded to himself feeling satisfied that atleast she is responding.
He gently unbuckled her properly and Moon didn't complaint, didn't even made a move, in fact didn't even breath.
He opened his door, walked out and opened hers. She got out still without any word but a little smile on her face, which Jungkook wouldn't have noticed if he wasn't focusing on her that much.
He held her hand tightly in one of his own, and walked into the hospital not even caring as few people opened their mouths in shock.
No words exchanged in the lift either. But it was okay, for both of them.
Moving out on the Cancer ward, when they reached her room. Jungkook gently opened the door as he finally let go of her hand.
