"Levi." Claire whispered in surprise as he opened the door. "Good morning." she then added in that lazy drawl that immediately got his dick hard.

His gaze slowly swept over her. She looked great, in cream pants and a white almost see through blouse. He could see the outline of her round breasts beneath a dark lacy bra and his hands itched with the desire to cup them and feel their firmness.

She'd let her long silky hair cascade down her back and he craved inhaling its enticing scent. He craved it like a drowning man craves goddamn air. His perusal of her ended on her soft carnal mouth and her lips parted under his avid inspection reminding him that she did taste as sweet as she looked.

"Morning." He replied laconically and stepped aside to let her in. Levi saw a flicker of hesitation enter her light blue eyes. He purposefully hadn't given her enough room to maneuver. She walked in and brushed up against him and Levi bit back a curse. Damn, she smelled good too. All rosy and sweet, her body lush and soft against his.

He was right behind her, enjoying the delectable shape of her ass and the light sway of her hips as she walked. He followed her into the living room where his daughter was.

Lauren's eyes lit up when she saw her, "Claire!"

The kid hadn't stopped talking about her since she'd left yesterday. Asking him if she really was coming back and going on about how she wanted to be as pretty as she was when she grew up. He had been mildly amused, he guessed it was true after all. She was some kind of child whisperer. But he knew it was more than that, she had a presence about her that drew people to her and completely dazzled them.

Although he suspected that she was unaware of the effect she had on people. Even Pam and been raving about her. He also grudgingly admitted that he'd been impressed and assured that by summer's end his daughter would be able to start school with the rest of the other kids.

Even though the air conditioner was on in the living room the heat was still stifling, it was hot and humid and to think that summer had just began! He had just taken shower but his shirt was already sticking to him because of the sweat.

He watched as his daughter ran up to her. She was almost about to hug her when she came short and suddenly stopped, visibly unsure of herself. Levi tensed as Claire knelt down and opened her arms and Lauren instantly ran into them, "I wasn't sure if you were really coming back." His daughter said when they moved apart. Claire smiled and gently stroked her hair, "I said I'd come didn't I?"

Lauren smiled back and looked at him, "Daddy said you would." Claire also looked at him and their gazes held for a brief but loaded moment before she quickly looked away. "He was right." Claire responded softly still stroking Lauren's hair.

"I'll be in my office down the hall. Pam isn't here today. If you need anything you'll find me there." He gruffly said and left the room.

He didn't know why he felt so ornery, it was probably the unbearable fucking heat or the fact that he was horny as hell.

Fuck!

It was both those things and at the present moment he couldn't do a goddamn thing about either. He couldn't even remember the last time he'd had sex! A week, maybe two? It had been that long and he was that busy. Besides, getting sex from a woman required too much damn effort. Wining and dining and talking, pretending that he was interested in her job or hobbies or whatever the hell she'd be yapping about all just to get in her pants. God, why couldn't they just shut up, open their legs and save him the trouble.

He sat down on his office chair and ran a hand through his hair. The phone rang and he picked it up.

"How did the meeting with Miller go?" His father said, without any greeting or opening of any sort. He had an extensive business, ranging from hotel chains to hardware stores and everything in between. It was a total bitch to ran but Levi thrived on the challenge.
